Okay, I've come up with a rather interesting idea for a tournament. Here's how it works:
Normal round robin with the following rules:
Teams can start with up to 12 players.
Games played as normal, with 6 points for a win, 3 for a tie, none for a loss.
Now, here's the catch.
No new players can be bought. No players can be hired. Your guy dies, well he ain't coming back.
Also, I'm considering a rule saying that all perm injuries must be cut.
What do you think? |

I think the undead teams are going to have an edge, but it could still be a nice league. People might even play a non-regenerating team out of spite |

Even Regened players die.
I might have to limit the league teams to like 2 per race though. |

Could be fun.
No point playing an AV7 team though and stunties are way out.
DP Claws RSc and Deathrollers and we'll see teams fielding 2 man teams by the end. |

Hmmm. I don't know. If I did that, I'd have to have a no regen rule as well. |

Well, if I can get a few more votes in favor (meaning, I hope, that you'll play) I'll start this thing up. |

that looks kinda a bit like Pools of Blood. Similar but not same.
You might want to read through it tho and see if it helps with your rules making decisions.
This sounds like something i'd be up for if i had a spare slot in U but i'm a bit over commited on the tournies right now. Maybe if i get a team killed of soon enough i'll join. think i'll take darkelves if i do. |

Seems along the same lines. But they just have the FF rule, instead of a flat out no new player rule. I might want to initate that... |
