At one minute past midnight fumbbl time on 1 Sept 2005, Season V commences!! New format for scoring this season (see the group page for more details, or PM me if you still have questions), and therefore we need a new format for game reporting!
Your game reporting post should look something like this:
E.L.F. Team X
GROUP A
Race 1 (link)
Race 2 (link)
GROUP B
Race 1 (link)
Race 2 (link)
GROUP C...
There will never be more than 10 games in your game reporting post at any time. If you play 3 games in GROUP A, pick which two games you want credit for, and link to those games. If you choose a different game in the future, delete links to games you no longer desire to be counted, replacing with the new link. To combine the link with the race name, do the following:
{url=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=group&op=view&group=2079}E.L.F.{/url}
...replacing the {} with [], and the website with the game reporting page address. If done right, it'll look like this:
E.L.F. |

It is as I feared. I won't be able to participate in E.L.F. Season V. School and other matters are taking up too much time for me to play hardly any games of Blood Bowl. Compounded this is the fact I can't get my team back up to fighting strength, having taken at least one fatal casualty in every one of the last dozen games I've played.
I hope to make it back in time for Season VI or VII. However, October is the start of my graduating quarter at University so that might not be possible. I may not make it back until next year!
Anyways, I thank you all for a great group and lots of fun. Until later, many good wishes from myself and the Old Elvish Dominion. |

This is Endecha again this season.
First plate is the first Group A this season (and I get beatten a lot):
Dwarfs 0-2 lose 05-09-01 20:23. Plenty of casualties and an iterception for him, nice dwarves. 6x2=12 points
Here is Group B
Chaos 0-2 lose again 05-09-17 20:40... and I think that he got a little anoyed when I had a good turn some people really know what they want. 6p
Playing again, how vicious. Group C here... I'll have to tidy up this post...
Humans 3-1 win surprisingly, we both played orcs and I get the best part. 05-09-15 22:16. 24 points
total group A 12p
total Group B 6p
total group C 24p
Total for the season 42p |

After a long break from playing Bloodbowl, ...and they shall know no fear makes a comeback.
Results:
Group A:
Khemri: 2-2
Another draw against Khemri, but this time with the EMU bonus. 45 points
Chaos Dwarf: 2-1
FINALLY another victory, but what a cost... Get the ref first half from turn 1 and lots of blocking when I was outnumbered resulted in 2 deaths (one catcher and a skilled blitzer (40+ SPP), and to rub it in the catcher that got a skill niggled on aging on the 16 SPP mark. But, as I said, a WIN 44 points
Group B:
Orc: 1-1
A fairly fought game against orcs, with apoth used up first half for both teams. 2nd half nearly bloodless and very close to securing victory either way, but ended in a draw. Itniid met the Grim Reaper in the last turn of 2nd half, on a fair, SPP scoring block (I'd have done the same, so no hard feelings). Nice opponent and a fair fight, no nasty unnecessary crowdpushes or fouling in the last turn. 15 points
Chaos: 1-1
Another draw, only a 2+ catch or 2 gfi away from victory. At least it's an improvement from the last 2 games, even if my most experienced player died. 15 points
Group C:
Humans: 2-2
A soft start for the season, worst injuries was a MNG on each team. 15 points
Amazons: 0-2
Another loss, and it seems like the team is on a loosing streak. At least no players got permanently injured. 6 points
Group D:
Dark Elf: 1-3
Slightly better than other matches vs elves, but still need that pass blocker and strip ball. Nasty weather (rain) and low dice rolls on both sides made this a slightly boring game, with few TD's.6 points
Elf: 3-3
This game could have gone either way, but the other elf was REALLY lucky on the injury rolls (1 BH, 3 SI and 1 RIP, that's more than the EMU Khemri team I played managed), and thus the game was almost unwinnable.15 points
Group E:
Necromantic: 2-0
The first victory of the season, much thanks to a blitz, helpful weather and an unlucky opponent. Let's hope this is a sign that times are changing... 24 points
Skaven: 3-5
Skaven, oneturner, 'nuff said.... 6 points
Total score: 191 points
Matches that didn't make the cut as scoring matches:
Khemri: 2-2
Another draw, this time against Khemri. It was a very fun game, I especially remember the mummy that TD'd about turn 6 1st half, after a catch and 2 GFI. Game was drawn last turn, after nice ballhandling by the Khemri team (catching the ball in the endzone). 30 points
Orc: 1-2
Another loss against orcs; elves flew of the pitch at an alarming rate and when rerolls had to be used on 2+ dodges/pickups things got nasty. A thrower in training gained a niggle and an early retirement. 8 points
Chaos Dwarf: 1-2
This game got destroyed by what I think was ISP issues. Lots of lag, crashes and an out of sync game, but we finished it anyway. Could have gone either way, but I guess the best team won in the end. 16 points
Wood Elf: 2-7
A disgrace for this team, no points gained as I lost by too much. The dice didn't cooperate, and the Wood Elves are faster, so a fair and square loss. Need more pass block and tackle to handle elf teams....0 points
Orc: 1-2
Now injuries are picking up, first casualty of the season in this match. Fun game though, and opponent played fairly. 8 points
Amazon: 2-3
I was ahead 2-0, but lost the match 2-3... 8 points
Chaos Dwarf: 1-2
Seems like luck wasn't turning after all, another loss. A failed 2+ catch with reroll from catch turned a certain 2-1 victory into a 1-2 loss, and to rub it in my thrower aged a niggle at the 31 SPP mark. 16 points |

Group E:
Skaven: 2-2: 2005-09-05 15:51, 15 points
Very tense and fun game against what is in my opinion the coolest skaven team around.
Total: 168 points
I'm a bit baffled with why rotters are in the average category. Comparable with chaos, but starting with 5 FA and tentacles makes them hard to play against for elves. IMO they belong in the strong category with orx and chaos and the rest.
Maybe this is because there should be at least 4 teams in each category ?
Move skaven over to the average category then (and maybe undead, ogre or pact to the odd category). Would look more logical to me anyway.
Pity also that the rules and scores and cycles of season I -IV are removed. Liked the old rules better, but these new rules have some appealing aspects I must admit. Still, this league should not forget its history, jus because of new rules (ELF history section on the page ?).
Oh yeah and why no points starting from the third casualtie anymore ?
Just some suggestions, keep up the good work you guys.
Cheers |

Finally my Dreadelves embark on their journey to glory or horrible slaughter.
CAT A:
This game falls into the horrible slaughter category. I started with 9 players and the Chaosdwarves just beat the **** out of me.
Chaos Dwarf 1-2 2005-09-06 06:03:42 Points: 16
CAT B:
Despite common sense I'm carrying on with this team. Even managed another win despite starting with only 9 players again.
Undead 3-2 2005-09-12 09:15:27 Points: 22
CAT C:
CAT D:
