I have many leagues because I don't play friendlies any more - I prefer to play against people I know to be a good laugh...
...so, every time I come up with a new team idea, I need a new league to put them in!

Just be aware that the Zombies will mince all in their wake without mercy!

I just want to say that I am really disappointed that the intention of this league to be foul heavy was not stated at the beginning. I would not have participated.
I have real problems with the fact that on the first day of the league we were informed of this clarification.
Maybe because of the recent issues in an other league that many of us share and the decisions we made regarding fouling in that league, I had a false idea of what this league would be about. I did not join this league to "win at all coats". It appears I did not join to win.
I thought this would be similar to Pras' UFL, but with Linemen only. It is a type of game that I do not enjoy. Perhaps, if I had been informed previously, I would be of another mind set.
My Match report:
I hate fouling and hate that in order to survive this match was forced to foul and Seriously Injure my opponents player. It is not my intention to blame the coach I played against. He seemed like a nice guy, it is the last minute decision and notification that this is a win at all cost league that I have problems with.
Congratulations to my opponent. He has what it takes to go far in this league. |

I have to agreed with the above post, I hate fouling, i am here to enjoy BB games and meet people from around the world and have a good laugh, fouling is not need in any games, you do not get spp points for it, and if you can not win a game with out having more players on the pitch than your opponent then i guess you have no skill, or do not care for your opponents team or enjoyment while playing.  |

As I said to thereisaball - I have many leagues, and each embodies a different concept.
My Stunty league, the SFL, is full of rampant fouls game in and game out, and nobody seems to mind. In fact, everyone enjoys that league!
But as soon as it's regular squads, attitudes change.
Apologies if things were not crystal clear. If you want to leave the league then feel free to do so. |

I do not now intend to leave the league. I think I have a certain pride when it comes to retreat!
My feelings are best summed this way: It was a matter of preconception, I did not perceive the league I had joined to have this view on fouling. I will not foul needlessly, and will probably only foul when necessary. Not being a regular fouler, I will have to learn!
Maybe I will change my philosophy of Blood Bowl, probably not though.
I want to make it clear that I in no way blame my opponent for his actions. He played as the rules of, indeed in the spirit of the league.
My only comment is, and should have been on the timing of the clarification.

Just a thought in terms of league theme: How about ONLY allowing the zombies to have DP skills and foul? It would make us all hate em more! I think that would rock personally.  |
