Hmm, I wonder if I should sign up my Mall Rats for this, they mught not have the most number of games played, but as their team id number shows, they've been around quite a while. Bob hasn't been on the pitch in such a loooong time. He must be getting bored.

I can offer my Undead team (wich I always loose with Smile ). They have only playd 28 games though, but they are the first team i made and has been around since January.

Well I'd like to let you join, unfortunately we (still) have an excess of dwarf teams. It seems as though there is going to be a quite high turnover of teams, so you're on the list for dwarf reservists.

You're 2nd, behind Hax. (Assuming Indur joins, his invite is out).

Sceadeau, it's an OPEN div group at the moment, so I can't enter you anyway.

Still, if other people are interested, a 'Legends of DivX' group is possible. (but not until end of October, since i want to see what happens to divX when the experimental teams become official).

About scoring (the problem arrised in the results topic but put my suggestion here):
i think win percentage will do it fine. that's a good measure of a team's performance and teams with different number of played matches can be easily ranked together.

only one thing is a problem: with very few matches played the percentage could be too onesided (ie. u can easily win 100% of ur 2 matches with good luck but hard to do this after a dozen games). so i think it'll be healthy if we'd rank the teams only after a minimum number of games (3 or 5?)

just my two cents...

Good idea, but i'm not certain. I think another option could be to put a note in each team's record (more on this soon) of who they won't score points for (replacements for the teams they have already played, but have left).

The more i think about it, the more sensible it seems. I definitely don't want to take points away because an oponent has left. As long as the team turnover isn't too high, it should work.
