Hi,
Human Classic League starts in about 2 weeks. The First of May.
This is a league with only human players, trying to recreate the real life NFL.
Teams will have only humans. Ogres or any other humanoid races will be forbidden. (amazon, norse)
The league will have pre-season, divisional season and play-off.
New human TR100 teams are welcome!

I'm already kicking myself for not getting an apoth. Hoping my EST location won't be a huge problem; most of my games will probably have to be weekend mornings to accomodate the Europlayers. |

well, the idea is to make the divisions by timezones. So if we get more players from north america, in your coast, they will be in your same division. |

Well, we are 2 members and 1 pending. If we reach 8 or 10 teams we could start on May the 1st. But we are looking for 16-20 members, this would be great!

To say that you're not the first person to try to do this would be an understatement. Human-only-leagues-in-imitation-of-the-NFL are ten a penny (just have a search through this forum and the League forum) - few even get started and none of them, afaik, last.
I would encourage everyone who has the ambition to start a league (it can be done, as I can attest!), but I strongly recommend that you go for a different theme: this one has been tried, tested and found wanting.  |

There is a league running for human, norse and amazon. But i think could be good a only human league and i didn't found any at this moment. Don´t need to be the first running anything, i only want to run my desired league. And if i found such people to do that you can be sure we are going to play it and have fun |

I'm just getting back into BB after a year+ absence, so I'm hoping an all-human league will "normalize" things enough for me to find the old skills again... |

I think one of the problems with such leagues is the boring human roster.
I always thought the human roster should allow 0-2 blitzers and 0-4 blockers (and not contain an ogre at all).
Actually, I think that the warhammer fluff would easily justify several slightly different rosters (similar to the elvish variants). |

well, i don't see human rosters as boring. i missed the blockers in human teams when we changed the first bloodbowl version to that bloodbowl we have. But it makes the humans as the very common race, every player with 3 st, except ogres. but that's oneof the differences between humans and orcs, humans has catchers and orcs has blockers. The fun of a human roster is to develop the team from a 3st 3ag players. And you can goal your team to many strategies. I think the fun of that kind of league is that every coach has the same rules to run his team, but every team will be different because of the strategy of each coach. Appart of the smell of a Real-life league. |
