On paper, I would say that Dalibor is probably gonna win this. Great team, fantastic playstyle and just the right luck to pull of the win in this. Also, from personal experiencee, he is probably the most difficult coach to beat. The actual draw could very well change everything though and so can the gobbos. x)
Personally, I wont get my team into shape and probably wont make it past the first round unless i am really lucky in the draw or with the nigglers... |

I got the coach that I voted for the win! Borgen... good thing is that I can loose in the first round against the one winning the tournament and dont have to spend too much time playing fumbbl.

Make your picks quickly, Malitrius and I will be playing today at 17:00 bbtime. I'll tell you how its going to go down in the top bracket:
Blackmarsh Jesters vs. Brains is the hardest to call, both coaches are very dangerous. Fejd may be the best coach there is with dark elves, but I think Pulpo's got a team that can stop him - Undead for the win.
Markusen's orcs are going to smoke the Necros, 2-0. Flix advances easily 3-1.
Melmoth has a rematch against Falcone of their UI III qualifier, an exciting 4-3 affair won by Falcone. Malmoth doesn't have the firepower to stop the wood elves this time, and Falcone wins 3-2.
In round 2, Pulpo's undead are going to plow their way to a win over Markusen's Orcs, and Flix is going to beat Falcone. Flix wins the bracket by squeaking out a win against mmm..... brains. |

Coming in partway into Round 1 we already have some surprises...
Look for extra Goblin stars on every roster!
(Don't expect many of them to take the field though...)

Markusen's Homicidal Maniacs (Orc 284/245) beat Gunslinger's Necromantic Cowards and Pickers by 2-1.
(with both Ramtut AND Count!)
Blackmarsh Jesters have 3 +ST but the placement and abundance of niggles gives them a tough road.
Homicidal Maniacs have the players, cash, ST, Guard, Tackle, and +AG to win.
Plorg's Pick (Rd2): 2-1 Homicidal Maniacs

Melmoth's Krautrock (High Elf 276/234) beat Falcone's Woodburns E.L.F by 5-3(!)
Flix's Tholgorond Swordspiders (Dark Elf 278/256) beat TheCount's Wood Elf Higgis Haubencenter by 3-2.
Melmoth and Flix are both top coaches which makes this much harder to call.
Both teams have about the same speed, strength, and +AG.
Krautrock has a ST4 Blodge Tackler who will be problematic.
However, the Swordspiders have a better concentration of skills
and a Wardancer with some Strip Ball in a Sure Hands-free world.
Plorg's Pick (Rd2): 3-2 OT Tholgorond Swordspiders, taking 1 MNG

The thing about Maniacs vs Swordspiders is that Maniacs have a Wardancer as well (sort of).
They also outstrength the Swordspiders by a great deal.
Plorg believes it probable that Maniacs takes much less damage in Round 2 than Swordspiders,
so the Orc team will be in better shape for Round 3.
Winning this match depends on how ruthless the Orcs decide to play.
