After Specing quite a few WO Qualifiers, (and getting beat down in the first round - Gratz to Saxo) - I've was surprised by two things.

Firstly, JD not bringing the eaters to the tourney, even though they are now well in excess of 400+/300+. Second thing I observed is all the 300+/200+ teams shredding the TR out of each other in these qualifiers - quickly rectifying 'the birthday curse'.

Here's now my question - Has JD yet again out played us all? - By holding his eaters back from this one tourney, allowing all the other teams to bring each other down, has he guaranteed nobody can touch him for the next year in all the other tourneys that he does enter? (At least until the next birthday Smile

My gratz to him for an awesome sneaky play if he has - and gratz for bringing a different team and bowing out first round, giving the rest of us a chance if he didn't.

Its not "awsomely sneaky" its "awsomely dull".

Edit: if Cloggy is correct then thats cool. I think having mutated non-dorfs would be cool though.

The actual Master Plan is to keep the Eaters only for tournaments where you can win players and thus phase out all the dorfs.

Got to be in it to win it...

Chucked away his consecutive majors streak and on top of that made people question him.

Doesn't seem like an outthink to me.

It's sad... just sad.

Not to play in a tourny where people could actually beat you or hurt you when you have team like that?

Just sad...

He lost all respect from me.

I Love it - I don't care how much meta-gaming is involved - that would perhaps be the ultimate achievement in longevity and playing skill and metagaming for any team on Fumbbl.
