Playing devils advocate a little hre but.... if you have no team after those khemri..... isnt the problem solved?
Edit: call me silly but the exact same smack that kryten is playing would seem to be immensley favourable to jimjo's elves despite the baseline absense. |

Funny you should say that too. Between us jimjo and I swept all non-elves before us, and are scheduled to play each other in the final. The +5 for tourney matches is good, but I agree that it's easier to win and survive at lower TS than at higher TS. That being said, it might be easier to rack up huge scores at medium TS (150-200) when you can have some real scoring machines in your lineup. I'm not sure about high TS, I didn't get to stay there very long 
In any case, it does seem necessary to have willful disregard for your players' safety to make the big score. |

Things have gone badly downhill.
Three deaths and a niggle in the SMACK final versus jimjo, an overtime loss.
Next four matches, four deaths and a niggle.
Current status: 7 linemen, 1 catcher. Two niggled players.

Hmmmmmm, Kryten may have had a slightly bad experience there at least his TS 250 problems are solved 
I myself have been doing ok (alas only 3 games  ) with a sturdy 80 points from the TR 200 minor. Only one of those games has been a scoring game but the tournament bonus has pretty adequately compensated me for the lack of scoring games (and they werent complete pushovers). |

E.L.F. Season XVI Snapshot Standings.
70 active teams in the 3rd week of play in Season XVI. Recruitment is now closed to all but fresh TR100 teams – experienced teams will have to wait until after the season ends to join.
Wood Elves remain on top of the standings. Legion of Longevity makes a move and takes over the top spot with 323 points. Samovar Sinensis holds at 302 points and drops back into 2nd place. Good Time adds a few points to remain in 3rd place with 292 points.
Karond Kar Poetry becomes the highest scoring Dark Elf team with 231 points in 4th place. Have Elf, Will Foul! sits in 5th place as the top Pro Elf team with 203 points. And Eataine Sea Guard keeps its position as the best scoring High Elf team with 182 points in 7th place.
Two teams above 300 points. Three past 200. And 10 more teams in the century club.
Two more cycles completed! Legion of Longevity becomes the third Wood Elf team to make the grade. And Karond Kar Poetry is the 1st Dark Elf team to complete the 10 games. Congrats! Who will be next?

Finally completed my cycle and hopefully bagged myself 4th place as the top darkelf and king of the elfbeaters
With 13 games for the season and starting at a solid 200ish level it looks like the system works, certainly from where I'm standing. |

Wood Elves swept the top of the standings. Legion of Longevity finished in 1st place with 342 points. Samovar Sinensis held onto 2nd place with 320 points. Good Time stayed in 3rd place with 298 points.
Dead But Don't Know It Yet finished in 4th place as the highest scoring Dark Elf team with 284 points. Popes of Mope lead all Pro Elves with 232 points and a 6th-place finish. And the best of the High Elves was Lords Lament with 198 points ending the season in 8th place.
Two teams finished above 300 points. Five made it beyond 200. And 18 teams were in the century club.
Five more cycle completed right at the end! Dead But Don't Know It Yet and Folsom Prison Blues both got in the 10 for the Dark Elves. Popes of Mope become the sole Pro Elf team to manage the feat in this short season. And Bishi Xenophobes & Uppitty What What made the cut as the only High Elves to cycle. Congrats everyone!

Nice work on another entertaining E.L.F. season pizzamogul.
Any feedback on scoring changes?
I have to say I think the baseline +10 points is great. It's very valuable if you are trying to maximise points and ensures a tough match.
The only tweak I would suggest is that like the +-40 TS rule in ranked doesn't apply when both teams have TS 250+, allow the same for the baseline bonus. So +10 pts if opponent CR 155+ and playing up or even in TS unless both teams TS is 250+. |
