You can now select as little as 1 team when activating. Sounds great to me as it keeps me from having to retire teams. What are your thoughts? |

Yes - But.
I still think there should be some incentive to activate as many teams as possible to allow for the best possible match-ups to be generated. I think a previous suggestion has been that your teams' TS is reduced by 1% in match-up calculations for every 4 teams you have activated. |

Reducing your team TS would give an easier match for you right? Do you mean increased? |

No decreased.
If your TS was 100. You would be calculated as having TS 99 for scheduler purposes in deciding match-ups. So yes you may get very slightly better match-ups but thereby the incentive for activating more teams. |

I don't think making the matchups less fair is a good incentive. |

It's just great.
No need to change a thing.
An agreement within the majority of B coaches to emphasize more teams would be nice.
Enforcing it or even giving advantages for those who bring more is unnecessary at best. |

I don't know if it less fair to give a very slight calculation adjustment for multiple teams, compared to a 1 team activator always being guaranteed to play with that team. |

That 1 team activator is not guaranteed to play at all.
If he gets a game it is more likely to be unbalanced.
Somehow I miss the "just"-part of this "adjustment".
Unbalanced games don't help you however.
I think people will realize and usually activate multiple teams.
It would be better for them and everyone after all. |

There is list of your teams when you click activate where you can deselect/select each team for activation. |

We'll see if it has a positive impact. Hopefully it attracts more coaches. |

A good way to increase the quota of av9+dp teams in the draw. Also helpful to decrease the quality of the draw.
Imo this is the first step of developing the Blackbox into a diminished offshoot of ranked, where the shunned teams may be enjoyed. The next step will be tournaments.
I'm sad about it, i like the original idea of the division, but the mechanisms reward a pitiful style of coaching. Instead of working against it, it gets further encouragement. |
