First Match of the league from inland south!
Coaches SpIkEdDeAmOn and Artagas were to meet there teams "The Big Bad Bum Boys" on "DivX-men" home pitch, the match got under way slowly with no scoring in first half, but then 2nd half saw some huge tackles on the dark elves taking several off the pitch! The Elfs managing to score early... However the Dwarfs faught back hard and after being outnumbered and out blocked the elfs lost the ball and the dwarf blitzer ran the ball over the line. The Dwarf fans were so happy with this a riot ensured and the game was held up to finish early!
Good Match Lets hope this continues through the League! hehe
Final Score 1-1

Yeah...pretty cool game and an honour the play the opening one of Wastelands Superleague.
First couple of turns were looking good, we neutralized dwarven offence causing the first cas and ko of the game. But than a vicious dwarf blitz took the life of our good liner Longshot, and demoralized elves failed to finish the job, coming to 0-0 at the and of first half.
Our quick td cost us a lot, as we only had 7 brave elves left for defense, who were only enough to slow down our oppenents with some suicidal blitzes. With our liner recovering from kos fast we would have had another chanche to score, but unfortunately by than the drunken (and even worse...quite smelly...) dwarven crowd went totally out of control, and their rage resulted in an early end for the game.
Our lawyers are taking legal action against the Big Bad Bum Boys to reimburse damage caused by their immature fans to the elven arena.
Unfortunately we have to play our next game with 9 players, but hopefully we will manage to recover, and get a full squad on again.
Good game SpIkEdDeAmOn. |

well...THE WARRIORS OF OSIRIS TRIUMPHED over Hammer to Fall by 1-0.
by the end of the 1st half the warriors were 1-0 up the td scored by one of the mummies, which was a pretty unstoppable force:D lol! the warriors did suffer from quite a few casualties, 2 badly hurt and 2 serious, with only 1 serious to the hammer. most notable was the incredible bad luck of the hammer, always roling badly before they tried to do something important. then at the end of the game the hammer were going to score, but, the bad roling stoppd them, very unlucky |

right, my first match, and i lost, to 'Warriors of Osiris', 1-0
it was a bloody annoying match though, he scored late in the first half, by that time he had only got about 7 players left on pitch, i had my best chance late in the second half, when i only required a hand-off in order to score, rolled: 1
despite causing heavy casulties(2SI, mummy and a skeleton, bothe niggling, and 1BH, skeleton) and 4 KO's by the end of the match, i still could not pick up the ball, and so a 1-0 defeat was in order, well done ogogpgo.

We have until the 3rd May to complete these 5 rounds. Try not to play any coach that has played less games than yourself.
Trash talk is welcome in this thread, as well as results |

Mmmm, we're going for a new record with this league? The most lethal that would be 4 games played resulting in 2 players killed and 3 running around (or rather sitting at the bench for the moment) with a niggle
*note to self ... should have taken orks* |

Coldstone Cold Beers
Round 1: Coldstone Cold Beers 0 vs. Sleaze 2
The Cold Beers played terribly. They rolled extrodinary auxilary blocks, and failed all critical ones. urg. Niggle was on a foul.
Round 2: Coldstone Cold Beers 3 vs. Hammer to Fall 0 (North-South Conferance match-up)
The Cold Beers played ridiculously. They couldn't fail anything, and rolled nothing but pows. For most of the game Cold's luck was above 70% and Hammer's below 40%. As for the North-South Match up it is tied 1-1. The Cold Beer's victory will surely start the overwhelming dominance of the North over the South.
Round 3: Coldstone Cold Beers 1 vs. Downhill Dwarfs 2Tough game. The Down Hill Dwarfs defense was excellent, and prevented me from scoring early. Outmanned, and Overpowered, the Elves had a hard time mounting any effective defence, and in fact, didn't.
Round 4: Coldstone Cold Beers 0 vs. Skinksmorgasbord 1Skinksmorgasbord, took out all thier frustration in the previous 3 matches on the Cold Beers, breaking armor on 100% (I reread the message log to confirm this) of the knockdown block results (only twice were the cold beers lucky enough to only recieve stuns). Including the hit on my apothicary, sending him off the pitch before he could work his magic.
Round 5: Coldstone Cold Beers 0 vs. Chaotic Mad Dawgs 3 The Cold Beers were looking pretty unhealthy going into this match, in order to pull it off I needed a really good plan, and I came up with an ingenous, bold, and very daring one. It wasn't a sure thing, but it was the best chance I had. Well, the game started my lineelf niggling out of his 3rd game in a row (00.5% chance of that) and the first two blocks of the game resulted in 2 Cold Beer Cas, against, reducing my 9 man squad to a 7 man squad and quickly a 5 man squad. Bold and Daring became Stupid and Desperate, and the score sums up the results. |
