This is a blatant rip-off of Evo's brilliant Instant Stunty Tournaments....
RC Channel #IBBT (pronounced Ibbit)
Similar to Instant Stunty Tournaments but for normal teams.
Tournament structure is the standard 8->4->2 knockout .
ALL Tournament (T) teams welcome.
The "speedy" part is that the games must be completed in less than 1 hour and 15 minutes (barring hardware failure), or both teams will be expelled from the tourny. coach's are strongly encourages to take turns of 2 minutes or less.
Reports of "intentional slow play" (if you are losing say, and decide you will screw up your opponent by getting him dissallowed too) will result in a permanent ban.

Q: What's an Instant BloodBowl Tournament?
A: It's a tournament designed to be played in one day, thus Instant. It takes place with stunty leeg teams, thus
Stunty. It's an 8 team knockout tournament, thus Tournament.
Q: Who can join?
A: Any Tournament (T) team of any TR can join provided the coach can commit to playing up to 3 back to back games (shouldn't take much more than 3 hours if you make it to the finals).
Q: How do I join?
A: Click on the "apply for membership" with an appropriate team. This will be a recurring tournament, so if you are unable to play in the first one but would like to express interest in the next one, please apply now.
Q: When will it start?
A: They are "unofficially" scheduled for every Saturday at noon (EST). I will send a confirmation of an upcoming IST by group mail and will post it in the forums. But the idea is for them to be Instant Tournaments to be run whenever I can get 8 coaches in #aIST (In IRC "/join #IST") who have time for 3 games. Show up early to guarantee a spot. The first 8 coachs who add "-IST" to their nick will get a spot.
Q: Can I win points?
A: Yes as follows:
50 Pts for winning the tournament
25 Pts for the finalist
5 Pts for each win
3 Pts for each tie
1 Pt for each loss
Q: What happens if a game goes into overtime?
A: The game goes into sudden death overtime (click through the remaining turns if someone scores). If the game is still tied after 8 more turns, the fummbl site will determine the winner by a coin toss.
Q: What's the Instant Rule?
A: If for whatever reason, you can't play your next scheduled match, the Instant Rule will be invoked. You will lose the match and your opponent will advance to the next round.

Obviously it shouln't read "ISTs for Open Teams"
It's for T teams and there are no race restrictions...

WHy tourney teams instead of open teams? Be really fun to have some cherry picking free games in open. |

How about IT for Instant Tournaments? Or SQUIRT for Sudden, Quick, Ultra-sonic, Instant, Rapid Tournaments? You get the idea 
Plese don't confuse people by calling them ISTs. S is for Stunty!
