If you type the main bit of your post until you want the image then preview your message you get some nice edit buttons like quote, image links etc.
the buttons even open and close stuff for you nicely and allow you to stack them.

the code you are looking for is
Code:

I saw that option, but I wasn't sure how to use it for my purpose. The file I want to insert is in a folder on my hard drive, not on the net. How do I modify the code you show in order to do this?

you need to upload the file to a web location before we can see it
image-shack is the first one that spring to my mind, as far as free hosting of images go

image shack

you can't.

it has to be a web image otherwise noone else will be able to see it at the end.

many people recommend photobucket (never tried it myself) so i think it's worth you checking that out.

the example in my first post is an image i uploaded to fumbbl for a team image, anything else i have my own website so host it off the back of that.

The image link will obviously only work as long as the hosted file remains available. otherwise you can end up with Image

You see, when two images really love one another... oh snap... never mind.
