If building up (some of the) forlorn races is an issue, the meta group should encourage playing against them...
Time-consuming but fun could be this: Whenever a group member played with an forlorn race, he reports his opponent in a forum thread and the opponent is awarded one point (of course, race, result, TV etc. could be counted in). The other coach doesn't even have to be aware of this. Once such a coach reaches a threshold, he is awarded a badge that he can put on his profile and he gets an entry on the group page (unless he doesn't want that).
Question is, whether this could be seen as against the rules of Ranked. Maybe - I don't really want to think it through further right now.  |
