That hobgoblin has to have a sore back from carrying that team. Hah. Well played Jean-Michel. |

In the CR Belt - Burbi has a nice little streak with Vampires going now but has an open match with Madmatt that hasn't been finished yet - I'm wondering if I should do games completely sequentially or if there can be gamus interruptus.
In the Sprint Belt - Malmir continues to be a terror on the pitch putting together a 5 game undefeated streak.
ARR Suspenders - MercutioT hasn't shown up in a while to play.
HLP Belt - Cdassak hasn't faced any Humans yet.

Holy crap, azyx sends burbi back to the grave with some fantastic Slann action. Great to see some variety and unexpected wins happen. https://fumbbl.com/p/match?op=view&id=3690510
AZYX is the new CR belt holder which means we might get a glimpse of debog shirtcoptering the belt at some point. |

cdassak defends the HLP belt against Aflo. Aflo got an amazing OTTD to equalize in the 1st half but couldnt put together a drive in the 2nd half.

meanwhile azyx is winning some Face points with Slann, 2 defenses of the belt so far. |

Speaking of Aflo, guess who has the CR belt now? https://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=3690986
Big respect to azyx for rolling with the gobbos in this one.
Would have been awesome to see a belt unified with another...we were *this* close. Love seeing some Face teams win after the long dreadful streak of Heels racking up the wins.
I'll be changing up the holder of the ARR Suspenders tomorrow since MercutioT seems to be AFK (hopefully enjoying the beautiful summer like we all should be)
In the Sprint Belt Malmir and Wuhan had a fun one with a unassailable ST8 Deathroller.

Sweet leaping catchers, Aflo employed some legendary skills to get to paydirt to equalize in the first half and used 3 3+ dodges to put himself ahead on Turn 8 of the 2nd half. Jean-michel's legendary hobgoblin lives to torment us for another day but nicely done Aflo! |

Heh, cheers mrt1212. After 4 wins against some fairly hard teams, Bayernhoff's finest were taken down 2:1 against the infamous smallkosp. With 6 casualties from 11 blocks from the Pact team's killer it was always going to be a tough game though we gave a good fight that could well have denied their first TD but alas it was not to be.
Legend catcher Viktor Eilig unfortunately died the game prior from, surprise surprise, a failed leap, coming from some of the finest games of his career (as team captain too). The doctor on hand could have patched him up leaving him with a permanent limp, but Viktor already suffering daily from injuries begged him to let him go, allowing him to die on the field like the heroes gone before him. We salute you Viktor! |

Our favorite clawpombed ankle biter Smallman took down our hero, our savior, our Face of Faces Aflo. All good things must come to an end but there are new opportunities given Smallman's penchant for playing 22 hours a day

In other news, The ARR Suspenders are now starting with Nestoroide and his 2nd place Slann. Unfortunately MercutioT has been AFK for about a month and while I expect him to return at some point, those suspenders are being misused hanging in the closet, not hoisting pants up way high to prevent thieving from gobbos.
I'll be sending PMs shortly.
Thanks Timetis, hopefully you'll be scooping up a belt or two soon. Flaunt it! |

Also, Malmir has been on fire with his 'Teams I've Had' defending the Sprint Belt. 8 defenses so far - we all know Malmir has the skills to pay the bills and hopefully he and smallman will duke it out at some point. |

DOWN GOES MALMIR, DOWN GOES MALMIR. Let this be a lesson to myself - keep coaches names out of my mouth lest I jinx them. Khondar brutally terrorized Malmir and a huge fail to score with 1 GFI was basically the game - Malmir wasn't able to use the Wizard except to delay the game winner.

So now Khondar wears the Sprint Belt after 8 defenses by Malmir.
See ya dudes on the pitch!
Here is the tracking sheet just in case you're lost. |

Hold on to your butts, Nestoroide defends the ARR Suspenders in an Underworld vs. Pro Elf match against Glorin.
Really a great wide open match with some inexplicable luck both ways. This is what ARR matches are all about! Congrats to both coaches for an entertaining game and a special grats to Nestoroide for his first defense of the Suspenders and putting a notch in them too. First notch of the metagame!

Of course, the best thing about the ARR Suspenders is the UK/US difference in what that term means. Ours creates a much more comical image... |
