@bghandras:
Thx for the clarification on the skill process. A quick example on a draft would indeed be very nice!

How can i help you? Shall i pitch a minidraft with 4 players? |
That would be really helpful, thanks. Not following any American sports (that don't take place in the squared circle) this is unfamiliar ground. |

For me it is fine to use the old world. Feel free to manage that aspect, as i know very little about it. If i could suggest is using also the franchise names of the NFL. Example would be Averland Patriots (assuming i get Averland randomly, and my favourite franchise is the Patriots). |

Okay, so lets say there are 4 coaches:
Andy
Ben
Cindy
Daniel
They sit together, then randomize the pods.
Andy gets Pod1
Ben gets Pod2
Cindy gets Pod3
Daniel gets Pod4
Spelling out by rounds who chooses when, during the 6 rounds of drafting.
Round1
1 Andy
2 Ben
3 Cindy
4 Daniel
Round2
1 Daniel
2 Cindy
3 Ben
4 Andy
Round3
1 Daniel
2 Cindy
3 Ben
4 Andy
Round4
1 Daniel
2 Cindy
3 Ben
4 Andy
Round5
1 Daniel
2 Cindy
3 Ben
4 Andy
Round6
1 Daniel
2 Cindy
3 Ben
4 Andy
I hope that makes everything clear. (Until trades happen.) If not, and more explanation is needed, then SHOUT! |

There will be no limit to the players we can pick? (in regards of money, positions, etc.) |

No limit at all, just the order you pick and positional limits |

Human positional limits still apply. So you can have only 4 blitzer, 4 catcher, 1 ogre, 2 throwers. But the gold will be set at the beginning at the maximum possible amount, so i dont expect the gold to be an issue. |

I will certainly be doing so but aslong as the eam name starts with the city/state then I think it should be ok?
A nice logo would be cool if anyone has those type of skills |

I'd really appreciate if all players get one randomly assigned province that their team must represent and the teams' names must include the provinces' names.
If that will not be the case I'll name my team the Ostland Invaders!
@bghandras:
Concerning your draft example: Daniel has to pick last during round 1 - but picks first in all other rounds? Is this correct?
@draft:
16 Teams á 6 drafted players means there must be at least 96 draftable players. Exactly 96 players does also mean that every player must be drafted.
1. How many players will be available during draft?
2. Following which rules/guidelines will those players be generated?
3. Do we have to choose our teams' franchise players (including all their skills) BEFORE or AFTER we get to see the draftable players? |

b4nshee I believe the provinces will be random once we have the 16 names Although I see no reason to assign them if someone really likes one particular province.
I will leave bghandras to answer the other Q's |

"@bghandras:

Yes, that is correct!
"1. How many players will be available during draft? "
The draftboard has at the moment 138 players, but i am still fine tuning it.
"2. Following which rules/guidelines will those players be generated? "
I have downloaded a scouting report which rates them. I assumed that usefulness correlates to that rating, and that gave me a guideline how many skillups they had each. Then i read the scouting report, and assigned the skill to each. Arcayn will proofread with US eyes if those look to be correct.
"3. Do we have to choose our teams' franchise players (including all their skills) BEFORE or AFTER we get to see the draftable players?"
After you saw the draft board, but before drafting pods are randomized. |
