Well, with these Blitzers, I would probably go for the full 500k and take the Snow Troll for some hitting power; making the Snow Troll my main Blitzer (with PO, MB, Juggernaut, and Jump Up on doubles) for some random fun.
Although either way, I'd consider that team mediocre at best anyway... |

this ^ is probably one of the best (as in most competitive builds) I have just found.
I wouldn't bother with the snow troll if you want the team to be competitive though. he is slow to develop and too squishy. but I hate WA |

But that team is also illegal, because allies are 0-6. That team has 7... |

Some random thoughts about tilean
1 they would not be broken if 600k would be allowed. They would be just very good.
2 the success of my tilean team is centered around putting high av on the los. That way they performed as an attrition team. They agressively fouled.
3 the tilean lino is bad. Foddee material and fouler as best. They behave similarly as skinks. The less you have on the pitch is better.
4 not reading instruction - what about a redesign? Rather limiting the numbers you could increase the price of the guest pieces to balance. 10 or 20k extra depending on the player would do the trick. |

I mean, the Tilean lino is a hobgoblin. They don't have much in common with skinks. A better comparison is to other teams with similar linemen -- chaos dwarves, obviously, but also vampires, humans (+10k/+AV), skaven (+10k/+MA), Norse (+10k/block), etc. You can throw SL teams such as Araby, the two hobgoblin teams, Bretonnians (-AG/fend), etc. into the equation.
So the first question you have to ask is, are you okay with that kind of lineman? Personally, I am -- I prefer it to paying for armor any day. But a lot of people are into armor. I don't get it myself.
The second question is, what do you get to make the deal worthwhile? They're not going to compete with most of those teams on sheer positional talent -- 500k isn't enough to pay for the volume of players those teams get. Where Tileans have to compete is on versatility, i.e. Dwarves get more strength skills, but no mobility. Elves have the speed and agility, but no S access. And so on. If you have a couple specialists who can do each of those things, does that make up for not doing any of them as well?
(Charging extra for positionals wouldn't work -- you'd just end up with a team where everyone except the linemen is a bad deal.) |

I would try really hard if the guest positionals are taxed by 10k. I would enjoy it and also feel confident they will be decent. |

Yes, and it's illegal as well. I tell you, limiting the allies to 500k makes this a very bad team. I would suggest 600k as the upper limit to actually have legal teams which are competitive as well.
I'm always astonished about how different everybody's approach on Big Guys is - in my opinion, WA is the best negatrait, followed by Bonehead (because you'll never lose your tacklezones, and that's key for a roadblock). |

there isnt much in that team that is illegal they just need to drop 1 human lino for a tilea lineman and it is legal so no biggie. I think you are exaggerating tbh. You are saying they are a bad team, that is simply not true. I think they are mid tier overall but have some very strong builds too, people are telling me they are broken and too weak, that is usually a pretty good sign they are fine |

Could we get the sprites typo fixed in the treeman team
It's currently listed as 'spite' in the 'buy player' window & on the team roster.
I think there are a few more typos, but I've forgotten. When I remember I'll post them.
Edit: Snakemen constrictors are also mis-spelled.
Currently listed as 'Constictor' on 'buy player' window & team roster. |

Constictor is a typo, but Spite is correct. |

What the heck is a 'spite'?
Aren't they forest 'sprites'?
Edit: Looked up spites in the hammer wiki. Weird name, but I see why they are called that now. My bad! |

Spite is correct. (Same story with Syreen in case you wondered). Gw did this sort of renaming back in the day.
I also followed this type of naming policy with Ind teams if you check
Constrictor has been fixed. |
