You may already have an IRC client and not even know it. Do you use Mozilla? If you have a recent version, try typing irc://irc.afternet.org in the address bar and it'll start up ChatZilla - their cleverly-named chat program.
If you have Firefox, it doesn't come installed by default, but you can add it by choosing Preferences|Extensions|Get New Extensions... and scroll down to Chatzilla. As they say in Boston, "Wooks like a chahm." |
