WHY does the Old World Dorf cost 5k MORE than his counterparts on the other Dorf Rosters?
They are all 3 basically the SAME player. except
*the Chorf gets some access to Mutations (making him more valuable)
*the Blocker lays in a unit built around him (making him more valuable)
AND
*OWorf has 2 WORSE SKILLS with Brawler and Arm Bar when compared to Block and Tackle (making him LESS valuable) PLUS he gets LONER 3+ too
How does THIS make sense?
ALSO... How much worse is Arm Bar and Brawler compared to Block and Tackle?
I have to admit I do not understand these NEW SKILLS (or newer)
I just know having Block and Tackle would be better on a SLOW, FAT, HEAVY BREATHING, WALL of FLESH and METAL, Thick Skulled, HAIRY, SHORT, DIRTY, SMELLY DORF. |

Comparing pricing across teams does not necessarily make sense, but they are horrible, and most likely not worth it. The only upside they have is AV and Guard access.
A wood elf lineman on a khemri team should probably cost 300k or more.
It is a real shame that they didn’t follow the “original” arm bar skill (Rough Tackle) which also costed one point of MA to escape. That would be a fun skill to see in the game. |

I think in BB16 OWA might have been over performing (OWA blockers had Block and Tackle) for BB2020 they nerfed the team a bit and probably over corrected in my opinion. Note PRO got better and that was a frequent build suggestion for OWA dwarfs in BB16 so that may have factored in. I think for BB2020 OWA the dwarf blockers are last on my list to purchase. |

OWA Dwarf Blockers with just Block (no Tackle) would have not been OP.
Also, they should have Animosity (all not-Dwarf team mates), not Loner. |

OWA Throwers and Runners would both be mediocre at 75k. OWA Blockers are hilarious, but should be 70k with the stuff they have now. The rest of the roster is fine. |

I feel like if you don't take the OWA blockers, you are just playing as a worse human team |

As much as I like the AV 10+ armor, I like that they replace the skills for the dwarf blockers with two worse ones, gave them loner, and then raised their price as compared to the regular dwarf blockers. They sort of have a role on the team on LOS duty, but uh, they are, ahem, not great. |

eh, i don't think of it as 'they are poorly priced dwarf blockers'. I think of dwarf blockers as stupidly underpriced, and an OWA dwarf blocker is actually reasonable. The AV, the thick skull, these are things i absolutely would take on a human lino. Their job is to get hit, and they do that job well - and that job doesn't need agility or MA.
However, I really do think this shows how badly priced dwarf blockers (and worse, chorf blockers) are. |

They are good at LoS blocks. If you aren't planning to spend a reroll, they are only a little bit less reliable than the tree doing 3 die blocks and better than rerollless 2 die blocks by the linemen. Also in theory they could provide guard, if they actually ever leveled. |
