Hi folks! I'm starting a new league, but i never played with the new rules. How do you start at 1.000.k?
1 Catcher 3 RR
2 Catcher 2 RR
No Catcher
Full Positional 1 RR
With the old roster i played 2 Blitzer and 4 Catchers, playing very aggressive, but now how to defend?

I believe you want RR for new elfs.

check out the sites strategy and roster help in the HELP menu

And on defense try not to have much base to base contact, but i don't elf cause I am not Pro (not dying too!).

1 catcher 3RR if it's a long season, 2 and 2 if it's shorter imo. 1 catcher means less TDs (usually) so less TV but more reliable team performance overall with the 3RR. I like getting to 4 total RR ASAP becase 2020elfs love to have that one splash play that burns 2-3 RR to seal a game.

For my TT league I ran:
2 Blitzer
2 Thrower
1 Catcher
6 Linos
3 RR's
And then just bought the remaining 3 catchers asap! Worked pretty well (y)

I'm very tempted to start with 3 RR's...

2 Blitzer 2 Catcher 7 Linos is the way I do it. Makes you very competitive from game one.

Also, Dedicated Fans. I'm working on an article, but the short answer is that Dedicated Fans pay off really big if you buy a lot of them. The money not only lets you get position players, but it also helps you cycle Linemen. This is really good in TV efficiency terms if you're playing in TV matching, as 10k for a random General skill means 10k savings on the player. In a league format, it's often good to save up and take a random Strength skill, but there are a lot of bad Strength skills, so that's a judgment call.
