Group 1:

That group runned very quickly under the domination of No dead no cry. 4 Impressive wins from him. In fact only one coach has a chance to match with him and it's SirJacks Q.Breaker.

But Dony said he not think that the Chaos Dwarves will beat Toksnabba Idioters. He said they're too quick for him and the game probably will end with a tie.

Dony has a frightening team to play against and league Comishionner will probably put them in a higher strenght group. They're terrific and the favorites for beeing TR 100-125 champions.

-Hi Zweiblumen, could you present a bit yourself?

My first Bloodbowl experience was in a cafe about 8 years ago, i watch two guys playing an interesing match (i guess it was humans vs undead). But years got past before i would play my first match on myself. So about 2 1/2 years away i played my first tabletop game, but as i never had the chance to get in a group of playing tabletop BB i was searching for more. So i found Fumbbl in March 03.

But i am not addicted, ... , not really, maybe one game more...

I am a student of sience of buisness computing in Paderborn, Germany. Hope to finish my studies end of the year.

In this summer i met some guys of Fumbbl in Finnland. This was a great time.

-With no team managing to get 2 wins, this group is really open. How do you feel about you're chances to be champion?
I play to win, but it will be hard, especially after this loss

- What do you think about the resting games you have to play?
I am not afraid of any opponent, but sometimes my players are scareing me.

-Can you talk a bit about you're team? a who's who, so to say?

Oh, do you want a short answer? The first game of Lokomotive Troja was vs Sinner's Norse Storm Clouds in April 22th 2003 for the Wastelands Superleague. It was one of the first RoundRobin tourneys on Fumbbl, begining in the "open" division some month before the Tournament Divison was created.

For the team members. This team is created to defend the honor of the human race, so lending the power of the greek heros.

Stars at the moment:
Iason: After aquiring the golden fleece he is getting a little bit slow
Menelaos: Still searching for Paris
Theseus: Wanting to redo his famous task of killing the Mino

-Wanna make any last comment?
Luck has no memory

Thanks for all Zwei, and good luck for the rest of the championship.

TR 100-125 group 1 Top game is open.

Dony's no dead, no cry did won his 4 games impressively leaving a lot a team ravaged and broken. He was top favorite for the group.

But Sirjacks Q.Breaker also won his 4. So that last game between that two teams will decide who finish first. If it comes to a draw the TD diff will decide who finish first. That team will finally be the top game of that group.

Specialists believes that winner of that group will win the whole TR 100-125 group.

-Hi Kong-DK, I'll start my first one by the usually question: Could you present yourself?

Actually there isnt much to tell, im just another of those insane bb-coaches . I am from a brooding, windblasted place called jutland in denmark thats famous for breeding evil and twisted blood bowl coaches.
Played the game in the olden days when the rules were much simpler than today, back then it was all about maiming your opponent, the ball was secondary , actually that does seems to be my style sometimes, depending on my intake of alcohol or weird disturbing fungi.

-he second one is a mystery I would like to discover. Is your name linked King Kong or donkey Kong as the DK let suppose or something else?

Actually it is linked to neither . In my native tongue Kong means King, so its a hint about my ancestry or my prowess on the bb field - or both.
As for the dk, its just about signaling my nationality to other coaches. The dk is for denmark.

-Now at the start of round 3, you have a tie and a loss and an especially tough one against F-1, team that managed to get 6 points so far. This take away from you're hands you're destiny and you have to hope on other's to give you back you're chances to be first. So did you change you're goals? What would you qualify now as a good overall result?

Yeah it didnt turn out as i had hoped, but i knew from the start it was going to be rough, didnt have a big guy for my first game, the teams current mino, was just recently recruited. A norse-men team, who refuse to wear armour and who are mostly in it for the carnage, is always gonna be tough but fun, so that was our main reason for getting into this league. The first game was a somewhat unlucky one, but the second was real tough, i have personally always hated playing lizzies. Lost a good blitzer in that match, and unfortunatly we didnt get to take any reptile skin home to make a trophy of. As for the future, the team still has a great morale, and are hoping to show off their killing and ball skills on the field. I guess we will have to take it from there, and not worry too much about how the other teams are doing.

-Could you talk a bit about you're team and you're players, describing a bit of you're strategie and strenghts?

Hmm..... Well as for strategy, that naturally depends on the opposing team, with the new mino on the team, we have been getting some more midfield dominance than before, this will be used along with blistering attacks from the blitzers on the flank.

- Is there any opponent you feel like an special challenge, or maybe one you fear?

Well as i said, i hate playing Lizzies, so i am actually glad that match is over (even though we got trounced), so now there is nothing i feel we cant handle. Our next match will be against a pretty succesful ogre team, this match looks to be fun , with lots of injuries.

-Wanna make any last comment?

I will see you all on the field. Hail Carnage !!! Smile

Thanks for all Kong-dk, and good luck for the rest of the championship.

- Hi Filov could you present yourself?

"Greetings. I was raised in the Kingdom of Lhamia, under the rule of the dread Queen, Neferata, greatest of Nagash's disciples. After witnessing their awesome power I endevoured to gain some of that power for myself. Many long years I have studied. Finally my creations were ready. Having witnessed the spectacle of Bloodbowl, I sought to prove the superiority of my creations on the pitch."

Me personally I am 26 years old, post graduate student living in Belfast Northern Ireland. Being playing BB for about 2.5 years.

- At the end of the third Round, you're first of you're group with 9 pts. Can you talk a bit about your results so far?

"My team has performed well so far. We have had two matches that were much closer then the final score suggests. The first match against the vile machinations of the Tomb Kings ended 1-0 for us. Unfortunately we were not able to send any of the vile creatures back to eternal slumber. Our second match was against some skaven. We beat them 2-0 and managed to hurt a couple of them. I missed the chance to reanimate one of them though. Something I would have dearly liked to try. My werewolves and ghouls have been performing splendidly. "

- You have to remaining games in you're group, both against top challengers (ranked 2nd and 3rd). How do you feel about that? Will you somehow ready yourself to play them?

"I don't think my team needs to make an special preparations for the upcoming matches. Our first one is against another undead team. This should prove our toughest match so far. Hopefully my better developed werewolves and ghouls and take care of his players. Our lack of tackle will certainly hinder us a little. Following that match is a Chaos dwarf team. I'm not sure what needs to be done to deal with these corrupt manifestations of their mountain brethren. Hopefully the strength of my flesh golems and the speed of my ghouls and werewolves will be able to counteract the slowness of the chaos dwarves."

-If you win this group, you will have to challenge Dony. He has a hell of a team and you will probably be the underdog in this one. How do you fell about it?

"Being an underdog should be an exciting thing for us. And there would be no shame in losing to a fellow disciple of Nagash. Time will tell if we can develop to be a threat to him or not.
-In the long term, what are your hopes?

"I hope to have this team around for a long time. I hope to win the second group and give Dony a good run for his money. From there who knows? Proving the superiority of my creations over all of the other races and making a little money at the same time seems appealing. Spell components can be expensive. "

TR 100-125 group 1

With first and second place already attribute, the remaining fight goes for place 3 that everyone can still reach. Dony's No dead, no Cry and Sirjacks Q.Breaker stormed through the championship and finished with 15 and 12 pts respectively.

The four remaining have between 4 and 0 pts but even late entering Niks 11 can finished 3rd if he win his two game.

I guess the two first were a number too large for the whole group but how will they do when they will stage up in higher TR range group?

TR 100-125 group 2.

A more closer group. Filov actually do only need 2 pts to finish first. With 9pts, he is the top favourite to reech the first place and battle against Dony to win the TR 100-125 group. But mathematically, four teams still can finish first (Duergar's Gladiator's, Raging Bonerz and the Sons of the clan Skryre) and Filov still has to play two of them. Will he withstand the pressure and secure his first place.

The battle for the second place is very open since every team else has beetween 4 and 1 points and this group still keeps very competitive.

Tr 126-150:

Same configuration as the last one, Dusko, a very skilled BB coach is alone at the first point with 9, chased at 4 by Kong-dk Ploopy and Arcon. Ploopy would have been the best containder to rock Dusko, but he got forfeited and lost the 3 pts. He still has his chances. Hope he will try to get back on his tracks. This group also has a lot of though battles coming soon, hope that there will be no forfeits as at the last turn.

TR 151-175

Spiderben's Fémale and PellePirat's Happy Hunchback are at 7 points each and close behind (at 4) Zweiblumen's Locomotive Troja and Carl Stoneyard's Lunds Studenarme. They will have to battle for first place. It is a very close group but some things have to be considered:

Grondis Pathogenic beasties forfeited so Spiderben's Fémale are sure to get 3 pts on last round. Sprinboks Elvenplayer haven't been seen around for a long time so maybe are they also forfeit (even if that's only rumors) so Lunds Studenarmé will probably get 3 pts too, having 7pts secured. So everything is open here, but, if Spiderben beats Carl Stoneyard, I guess PellePirat will have to win all the games and finished with a better TD difference.

TR 176+

A very close group indeed. None of the players remains unbeaten and everyone still have a chance. Even Trekamp, rated as an underdog is doing very well. This group is perhaps the most exciting at all, and that's deserved as it is the top group with the top teams of the league.

The two weakest teams in term of TR (Jinxed Master's of Misfortune and Memento Mori's Trekamp) are both orcs and at the first places. Next round will show a top game beetween Trekamp and Indur. Indur has the required quickness and agility but he's only 10 at the setup and with Trekamp power he has his chances to steal Jinxed first place.

Filov wins his TR 100-125 group. Even if the season isn't ended, with 12pts and the second at 7 and 7, Filov can't be catch anyhow. He will have to play Dony to determine the true winner of TR 100-125.

Filov made a great first season never loosing and beating any opponent in his way. His team is build around a quick running ghoul and 2 dangerous werewolves adding both quickness and raw power. They scored roughly 9 TD in 7 games and that's a sign of their efficiency.

But will they be able to beat Dony's team? Can they keep themselves unharmed from Bandit Kierce Chaos dwarves?

If they play well their last game, they maybe could become a worry for Dony even if they still will be the underdogs in that game.

-Hi Trekamp, could you present a bit yourself?

Well I´m from a small and very cold country named Denmark, and naturally we have nothing to do but play a lot of blood bowl. I´ve played the game for 5 years myself, and I discovered fumbbl approximately a year ago, since then I´ve somehow lost all my sparetime....hmmm
I´m a good mooded coach (normally that is) and i believe in people taking the game for what it is and quit all the whining we unfortunately have here on FUMBBL.

-You have done well, last season with an underdog team, Memento mori, that finished second. But you, coach Trek, changed for a new team. Could you explain why?

Sure, first of all I´m not very fond of playing high rating games, the team was an oldie team in Ranked, and since I´ve stopped playing ranked, it would be a good opportunity to field them before they retired. I thought I would play something I ´d never played before, so i made my Necromantic team "Nunslaughters ´r us" so now I´m back to make hell in 100-125!!

-How do you feel bout last season?

The two games I had I thoroughly enjoyed. It´s great to play some foreign coaches again, after my retirement from ranked I´ve mainly played the danish league. BUT!... I am SO sick and tired of people not keeping their deadlines.

-How do you feel about the new one?

I am looking forward to it, I hope the redline/deadline rule will help keeping track of "sinners" Smile

-Can you present a bit your team?

Well, they´re a bunch of total newbies, but look out for Playtime Baby Brother Lycantrophy! He has got a couple of mean tricks up his hairy sleeve

-What are your overall goals for next seasons?

Since ít´s my first time playing necromantics I´ll take the humble approach: my goal will surely be to win every match, get shitloads of spps on my naturally uninjured wolfies and otherwise create fear and havoc!

-Wanna add any comment?

Keep your deadlines!!

Thanks for all Trekamp, and good luck for the championship.

Hi Slanter, the Swedish superiors won Season 2 TR 126-150 group 2.

-The first natural thing spectators wanna know is: who arte you slanter?
*For the Swedish Superior I am the invisible arm which directs the fury of these strong female politicians towards other teams. All in order to gain equality, bloody carnage and handsome amounts of money.

-How were the challenges this round? Especially considering that you won the group with only one point more than Ironik's team.
*The biggest challange was to handle the loss off two blitzers (RIP) who died from getting blitzed by the same mummy in Ironiks team. It was a serious cold shower but the ladies worked hard and well managing to cover for their lost stars. As for the round challanges, SS doesn't follow the "recommendations" of the patriarcal system.

-Could you present your team and it's strenghts?
*That all the players are on the field are equally good and that they have been able to spead out the spp. Blodge on 70% and 6rr does help as well...

-What about this season's playoffs? Hoipes on a victory?
*Playoffs?! *Maybe we were to quick to sacrifice Åsa Torstensson*

-And your goals for next season?
*Making sure the team doesn't lose it's first match and keeping all players within the same narrow spp range. Maybe we will consider doing some round challanges... not because we are obidient, but because we happened to want to...

-Any comments to add?
*The Swedish Superiors proudly present their stunty team, The Corporate Inferiors. These little buggers have had a wonderfull start, not losing a single match and rolling 4 out of 5 doubles!

Hi Arcon, you are the proud winner of Noobs league Season 2 TR 126-150 group2

-First, could you present yourself?

Well, what do you you want to know? I am still pretty new to Bloodbowl, started to play my first matches late in 2003 (at an honourable age of 26!). After my Skaven Team got completely bashed from my friends teams in games that took around 4-5 hours, we were searching for other chances to play BB, and play it faster! In March 2004 I joined fumbbl and played 200 games so far. Usually I prefer to play ball, thus having more agility teams. The True Cultists of Tempus are a very successful exception to that.

-How were the challenges this round?

I really like the idea of challenges. Makes one feel more inspired. Although I still don´t know exactly, why I want my players to fulfil them. Anyway, as far as I am informed my team was the only one to fulfil all of them (4). Ah, I remember the first one. Kill one opponent. Good match that. Killed an opponent early in the game. He was saved by an apoth, but in the last turn I killed his Ogre. Tough for him, but good for me. I was afraid of the second challenge: to make 3 passes. That is not the way, the Cultists handle the game. Usually. But since we have two high agility players, the 3 passes were completed in the first 3 turns of the game, giving us the chance to find again our style of playing for the rest of the time. Scoring 2 TD (as 3rd) was not that difficult, but the last one, against your Skaven, sk8bcn, scoring 2 more TD than the opponent, seemed to be tough. But, as much as I can remember it was a lucky game for us. Skavens usually are so fast. ..

-What did gone better than last year?

Everything? The Cultists are now my most successful team ever with 8 wins out of 12 games, and only to defeats. We have had 6 victories in a row now. Also, a few nice skills were gained by my players. And, so far, I lost not one player and no one received a lasting cas, except one niggling through ageing.

-Could you present your team and his strengths?

The strengths? Well, sure, that is their deep faith in Tempus. The great god of warfare and chaos. The believe in that. They live that. It amazes me. But, as it seems, it works. We have a very motivated Mino in the team, scoring one cas per match in average. Then we have those four formidable warriors. They are strong. Plus two good ballhandlers. I really believe in this team. They are still to go far.

-What about this season's playoffs?

What about that? Will start soon. And with this successful season, not only we, but everyone expects that we will perform as well in the playoffs.

-And your goals for next season?

What more could a coach want? I will be more than pleased if we could repeat the success. Of course we want to become the best team in our group once more.

-Any comments to add?

Yes, I just don´t understand the fans. As I have mentioned we had 6 wins in a row, but that only raised the FF from the starting value of 2 up to 3. What is it they don´t like? I do not know.

Thanks Arcon, Good luck for next season.
