Well, given the change in structure, I thought it a good time to once again update the races new teams can be list:

Norse 5
Orc 5
Dwarf 4
Khemri 4
Lizardmen 4
Human 3
Chaos Dwarf 3
High Elf 2
Wood Elf 2
Chaos 2
Undead 2
Dark Elf 1
Rotters 1
Amazon 1
Necromantic 1
Skaven 0
Pro Elf 0
Ogres 0
Vampires 0

Any teams with less than 3 teams currently in the league are welcome to apply, ie any elf team, chaos, rotters, zons, rats, undead, ogres and vamps.

And to echo chunky's sentiments, if you are running a second team, it would be <u>preferable</u> that your second team be the "opposite" style to your other one... ie if you are playing rock hard dwarves, why dont you try and play some girly elvesin the qpool! Razz

Its not a rule, but just our preference.

Is it still rule that Ogres and Vamps are only for the winners/runners up of the Gentlemans Picnic (or their proxies, as the case may be)? Just a question that some others may be pondering as well.

I think the rule Offical LRB team may join, they are now offical so they can join

Yep DL is correct, given Ogres and Vamps are now official they are also perfectly acceptable in SWL. As for prizes for Picnic, we shall have to work something out I guess.

Hey,

I apologise that I have to drop out of Season 7. Because of my work I have to leave Christchurch and spend some time in Thailand before I am in Germany over Christmas. Especially I apologise to BloodReaper. I wasn't able to be online in the last days and can't play now. 'Cos I'm at my boss's home (Just checking email Wink )

I wont be able to play a game till Christmas and after that only if the connection at my family's allows me to. I will let you know.

I will be back in New Zealand end of January/start of February. And I'm looking forward to continue playing with you guys.

It was always (most of the time Wink ) a pleasure. Keep up the great spirit. I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,

In league news, extensions have been granted to the <b>Fyord Frollikers vs Brouhaha's Revenge</b> and the <b>Soft'n'Fluffy vs Archfiends of Atrocity</b>

The extensions are for 24hrs ONLY.

ooh, and ...
/me squeals in joy and excitement at reading that we can play with new teams.
I will (hopefully) get a couple more games in with my Dwarf team "Glanlode Journeymen"in QPool before the end of the season.
After that, I think I will semi-retire them and submit a brand new team to the Qpool for Season 8.
I already have a Skaven team made, but looking at the two new teams, I just might give one of them a go.
Of course, all this will change if my Orc team "Wanna Beatin" get absolutely smashed before the start of Season 8 ...
