I think that there should be more places for new players/teams.
A suggestion format by me:
1xCosmos Conference
1xCelestial Conference
2xMeteor Division
4xAsteroid division
Cosmos: #1-4 play for 5 star league championship
#5-8 Drop to Celestial
Celestial: #1-4 play for 5 star league championship
#5-8 Drop to Meteor Divisions
2xMeteor: #1-2 from each Meteor Division advance to Celestial
#5-8 drop to Asteroid Divisions
4xAsteroid: #1-2 from each Asteroid Division advance to Meteor
New coaches start from Asteroid
Retired coaches make room for new players to start in Asteroid |

Sounds nice and if we find enough coaches, it will be like this.
With my suggestion we will be 32 coaches for the next season.
We need 64 coaches for your plan witch is the double number.
I prefer to keep our number down to 32 for now. The league will run smoother because most coaches will be the reliable ones from this season and we will have around 6 new coaches.
That way the next season will be guaranteed a succesful one, like the 2 previous seasons. And as we have succesful seasons, the league will become more popular and will attract more reliable coaches. That way we might some day have smooth running seasons with 64 coaches.
p.s.
If too many people apply for the next season, then I think it will be ok to have 2 Asteroid Divisions. |

2 teams eh? Sounds good. Nehver had 3 teams in order to fill empty spots.
I suggest whoever wants can have 2 teams but those 2 teams must be in different divisions.
For example: If you have one team in asteroid 1 and one team in asteroid 2 and both quilify to Meteorite, you must choose which of your team will stay in asteroid and which will go to Meteorite. Or if you have 2 teams that quilify to the play offs (one team from the Cosmos and one from the Celestial Division) you must choose witch team will play at the playoffs.
We must not forget that 2 teams per coach might cause problems. Like if someone drops we lose 2 teams. Maybe we should have rules on who has the right to have 2 teams. For example: In order to have 2 teams you must have played in the previous season and you must had played your games within the deadlines.
I'll send a groop message to see who is interested to have 2 teams. |

Well, I could imagine to have 2 teams. These games really are short, after all.
And: Captain is absolutely right in his points:
Only 1 team per division. And only reliable coaches should have more than one team. One good season must be playd before having a second team.
I do not need a second team, but, I will glady create one to fill up empty slots! |

i could manage a second team, the 5 player games are so short 2 teams should be fairly easy to work out... (do i count as reliable?) |

So I'm the only one that thinks that the 2 tean idea is wrong?
I surely could have a second team but I don't know it sounds unfair for the ones that have only one team in the league, they have less chanses for winning the cup. |

Unless we were struggling for numbers, I'd rather we stuck to the single teams as we are at the moment.
Perhaps if it was a completely different league, with different champs, then a championship match between the two champs, I would view it differently. As the current proposal though, I'd say no. |

Before anyone has the opportunity to have a second team, I'd like the opportunity to at least get started. Giving second teams to coaches already in the league would decrease the probability that a quality coach could make it into the league. I'm not saying that I am a quality coach, but at least I'm online about twice per day looking to play my games. I believe that is what a good league needs, a lot of dedicated coaches instead of a few with a lot of teams. |

Not interested in a 2nd team myself but more power to those who want it.
As long as they play their games I am fine with it either way. |

danny3115 told me that coaches that already have a team in the Celestial Conference or Cosmos Conference should not have a second team. I agree with that and I started not to like that 2 teams thing myself...
So I propose that in season 3 we will have 2 asteroid divisions and if there are free slots, then we will do a lottery and a few lucky coaches (that don't have a team in Cosmos or Celestial Conferemce) will have 2 teams.
Then, in case that a coach puts a team in cosmos division, he will have to put his other team into ice. |
