In the faqs it says big guys can use trophy rerolls and leader rerolls when they can't. And the list of things that cause turnovers includes getting called for not moving turn counter.

Page 14: Catching the football. End of second paragraph, beginning of third paragraph is all mixed up. It doesn't make any sense.

"...Place caught or bounces into an empty square or off the field.

The ball on the player's base to show that they have caught it and carry on with the team turn..."

The ogres in ogre teams are cheaper (110k)than the mistakenly 'Minotaur' labelled Ogre in the Big Guys chartm (120k).
btw: The Pro Elf Symbol looks very tzeenchy. Shocked

The agility tables on p. 14 for throwing and catching are wrong. The D6 roll required has been moved one square to the left

In the 'star player and star player points' section on p. 40.

Paragraph 'rolling doubles': Perhaps minotaur and rat ogre should be added in the end for mutations as the minotaur also plays for other teams than the mentioned´ones.

Paragraph 'gaining traits': What went wrong? Something must have been pasted very wrong. It doesn't make sense at all. Edit: found it on the next page in the paragraph 'match records'. Might want to switch them.

Dwarf runners got av9 instead of av8
Hakflem Skuttlespike cost 60k instead of 65k
Jordell Freshbreeze cost 70k instead of 75k
Morg ‘N’ Throg cost 100k instead of 95k
‘Ripper’ Bolgrot cost 70k instead of 75k

Most of the starplayers one game costs are wrong (all but Thrud and the secret weapon stars except Zara), they seem rather vaultish.

Actually all the Star Prices were changed in the 2004 Rules Review. I doublechecked this draft LRB 4.0 version and they are all exactly what the Rules Review changed them to. The first price is now the purchase price to have the player for a one-off or tournament game. The 2nd price is the hiring fee to hire the player for one game in a league setting.

The Dwarf Runner AV is a good catch though.

Most of the stuff that I've listed below is really just typos / layout issues. I think that quite a few of them have also been mentioned by other people too. I didn't so much go into making sure that the actual skills/rules are correct Wink.
A haven't checked everything yet, so if I find any more, I'll add them to this list.

Page 4, Column 1, Paragraph 1:
 • There is a space missing on the 3rd line.

Page 4, Column 1, Paragraph 2:
 • The third line has a space before the '!', not after it.

Page 4, Column 2:
 • The images for the templates appear to have been swapped.
 • For consistency, there should also be a gap below the second picture.

Page 4, Column 2, Paragraph 2:
 • The last sentence should probably read "Use it like a normal die..." rather than "Use it like a normal dice..." (singular not plural).

Page 14, Column 1:
 • Both of the agility tables are misaligned.

Page 14, Column 1, Paragraph 2:
 • The final sentence "Place caught or bounces into and empty square or off the field." makes no sense to me Smile

Page 17, Column 1, Paragraph 4 ("Buying Players"):
 • Typo: the end of the last sentence has been put on the 5th line (and 6th).

Page 17, Column 2, Paragraph 3:
 • The last sentance is missing the 'g' in "...greater than 9."

Page 18, Column 1, Last Paragraph:
 • The sentence 'Players may only be hired for a single match for league games..." is repeated, once in the black section, and once in the red one (maybe this is deliberate).
 • The red part relating to Vampire Teams should probably be moved into the first paragraph of the second column.

Page 18, Column 2:
 • The text below the star player card does not really seem to match up .. this probably isn't a problem though. e.g. "Teams" in the picture corresponds to "Will Play For" in the text.

Page 19, Kick-off Table:
 • 4, perfect defence - there is an 'r' missing at the start of the second line.

Page 22, Interception Modifiers:
 • A different minus sign is used for the -1 modifier than other minus signs in the book.

Page 23, Agility Tables:
 • Both of the agility tables have a 4+ for AG4, rather than 3+.

Page 25, Column 2:
 • The second Big Guy on the table looks like it is meant to be 'Ogre', rather than 'Minotaur'.

Page 27, Column 2, Last paragraph:
 • There is no space before the heading "Halfling Master Chefs". Possibly this should be moved onto the next page.

Page 28, Column 2:
 • There are some pretty large indents after the numbered points Wink

Page 36:
 • Pro: Ths last sentence refers to Pro as 'this trait', rather than 'this skill'.
 • Shadowing: There is no actual indication of what the roll is (i.e. MA + D6)

Page 37:
 • Stakes: These are listed both in the 'skills' section, as well as the 'secret weapons' section. Is this really neccessary?
 • In the "Skill & Trait Categories" table, The "Racial Characteristics" section contains the Physical Traits instead.

Teams:
 • Amazon - Blitzers are listed as 0-2 instead of 0-4.
 • Dwarf - Runners are listed as AV 9 instead of 8.
 • Humans - Should be listed as 0-2 Throwers, 0-4 Blitzers, instead of the other way around.
 • Khemri - Mummies are listed as AG3 instead of 1.
 • Orcs - Throwers are listed as 0-4 instead of 0-2.

Has anyone spotted on page 8 the new rules for "illegal procedure " are in

....
A coach who is called for illegal procedure must use up a re-roll immediately (this counts as using his re-roll for the turn). If he has already used a re-roll for the turn when the penalty is called, or he doesn't have any re-rolls left, then the opposing coach gains a re-roll. If a coach forgets to move the Turn marker, but can rectify his mistake before the opposing coach spots the error, then he cannot be called for illegal procedure. In addition, if a coach is correctly called for illegal procedure, this counts as use of a team re-roll for the turn. If a coach incorrectly calls an illegal procedure than he must remove a re-roll immediately. If he does not have any remaining re-rolls left, then his opponent gains a re-roll.
...

However if you look at the turnover section, it is still saying that illegal procedure end turn.

TURNOVERS
Normally, a team turn only ends when all of the players in the team have performed an action. However, certain events cause the team turn to end before all of the players have taken an action. These events are called turnovers. The following events cause a turnover:
1. A team is called for illegal procedure and doesn’t have a re-roll counter or
2. A player on the moving team is knocked down or falls over or
3. The ball is passed and comes to rest without being caught by any member of the moving team or
4. A player from the moving team attempts to pick up the ball and fails or
5. A touchdown is scored or
6. The four-minute time limit for the turn runs out.

Even the Q&A is is the same Sad
Q: What is the full list of items causing a turnover?
A:
1) A team is called for an illegal procedure and doesn’t have a re-roll counter
2) A player on the moving team is knocked down or falls over that was not thrown by Throw Team-Mate (use of Piling On, Diving Catch, and Diving Tackle do not count for falling over).
3) A passed ball or hand-off is not caught by a player from the moving when the ball comes to rest
4) A pass attempt is fumbled. (Throw Team-Mate fumbles are not turnovers unless the player had the ball)
5) A player from the moving team attempts to pick up the ball and fails (note: failed catch rolls by themselves are never turnovers)
6) A player with the ball thrown or attempted to be thrown by Throw Team-Mate fails to land successfully
7) A player is ejected by the referee for a foul
Cool A touchdown is scored
9) The four minute time limit for the turn runs out

About the Racial Characteristic "Easily confused".
The text mentions Thrud by name (since he is the only player with this skill). But it would be good if this could be rewritten to only mention "player" instead of "Thrud". This would help if we build house-starplayers that use the same skill. Some newbee couches would find it confusing if the text referred to a starplayer.

A new version on the Draft LRB 4.0 has been posted.

http://www.blood-bowl.net/LRBDRAFT/DRAFT_LRB4.0.pdf

This fixes almost all the typos and clarification listed on NAF, FUMBBL, TBB, and HR forums.

Give it a look over, but it should be almost ready to send to Jervis for posting to Bloobowl.com

Here are the few that have not yet been fixed:

Page 10, Slow Motion replay Dodge table. Is missing the + symbols on the 6, 5, and 4.

Page 18, Move the sentence:
"Each Star Player may be hired once per team. It is possible (though unlikely) for both teams
to hire the same Star Player, If this happens then neither may use him and he keeps both sets
of hiring fees!"
in front of the red section about "A Vampire Team can hire Count Luthor"

Page 28, Can we decrease the indent on the two options for the apothecary to just a couple spaces
instead of 1/2 inch indent on each of these?

Page 47, 2nd paragraph, 1st column. "The two runners-up may play a match to decide 3rd and 4th position if they wish."
The 3rd and 4th are in different formats.

Page 49. The word Conference after NFC and AFC is one word and needs to be on one line.
The spacing looks really off with it spreadout.

p.2 'for their sterling efforts' note the double space.

p.23 Attempting to land an accurate throw is listed as a -2 penality, when I believe it's a +1 (as the example states, and on p.24.)

p. 56? the 'throwers' line for wood elves seems typeset strange.
