God I HATE glotaing coaches!!!!

why do people feel the need to be so fkin sarcastic and gloat all the time??
Fummble Ranked is full of arrogant cherry-picking nob's who wouldnt know good sportsmanship if it came up and shook their big heads!!!

Yeah, and it's also fun to hear them whine when they loose...

But I agree, sportmanship is all too often in short supply here on Fumbbl...

What happened to the easy "Thanks for the game!" no matter what the result?

solution 1: stop playing ranked (i prefer unranked tournaments and ladder to be honest)

solution 2: stop caring about how the opponent feels

solution 3: if ur opponent starts gloating, start fouling the hell outta his star players

solution 4: was this so important that you had to post a note about it and clutter the forum? complain on irc and get it off ur chest instead

solution 5: start making a blacklist, and read other ppl's blacklists.

solution 6: grow up Razz

solution 7: learn to play better... this takes time, so try the fumbbl academy (as a place to learn), watch the impressive replays (a page here somewhere, can send it to you if u can't find it), and try faction as well. in faction everyone plays to win, so the perspective is a lot sharper and u can learn a lot

solution 8: grab a beer!

solution 9: look at your CR and compare it to your opponent's. there's always a chance someone is cherry picking when chosing to play against you. also look at the team u want to play against...

solution 10: Sticks and stones may break ur bones, but when ur opponent's gloating log on as a spectator to your own match and start booing at ur opponent's turn (doubt this is fully legal tho)

hehe i remember i was lfg with a fling team in ranked... a guy tried to cherrypick me with his humans, i told him i was hiring deeprrot and he was ok with that... he was expecting to massacre me... but i beat him... and the tirade of abuse i took from him because he had got beaten by flings... he didnt like it to say the least Laughing

It will help if you start typing utter gibberish in response to his comments. If he says "you can't block for crap loser," you type "broccoli explosion makes a flavour flower in my lungfish." If he says "I will win this game you suck," you say "Peanut, snarf the blue nose marble suitcase vermin."

After a few minutes, he will realize you are CRAZY INSANE and just shut up, or will get confused and maybe scared.

This works on co-workers too. Razz

This is about the funniest thing I've read on the forums in a long while. So damn funny that I'm going out to buy Shep's comic -- I don't even read comics, but if they're half as good as some of the stuff he writes here, then it'll be money well spent...

That has to be the best damn approach I have ever seen!!
If I ever get round to playing again, I think I might deliberately try and destroy someone, just to wind them up, and then use those quotes!!
