Greetings all you SWL'ers out there, I would like to present to you the latest attraction for you to slake your wants and desires upon

The not quite SWL Unstable League

The premise is quite simple

Anything goes

Pact teams
LRB teams
Stunty teams

You wanna play it? It's in.

This is not a league designed for balanced competitive Play

This is a league for utter chaos and stupidity, for trying out odd teams and odd matchups.

There's not much more to it than that.

So head on over to the Group Page, have a look, and feel free to apply with whatever fresh unranked team your debauched desires have seen fit to create Very Happy

Is there anywhere I can go to find a bit of info about the teams? Rosters etc... I really haven't had a reason to look at the non-LRB teams before now.

Submitted my Nurgling and Old World team... there is something sickening about a team where Longbeards and Woodelves play hand in hand. Looking forward to giving them both a try!

The faq section was somewhat helpful, although I was more looking for an LRB style team roster for each race/group. It was hard to get a proper idea of what players were on each team etc, apart from actually creating one of each team (which is what I ended up doing)

I'd just like to point out, that at this stage of the groups evolution, i will only be accepting fresh tr100 teams.
Sorry for anyone this upsets, but I am a ruthless horrible dictator, and wish to see this group get off the ground with it's own teams and players before i even consider letting in battle scared journeymen (and this is not a license to bug me continually)((Miu)) Wink

Heya coalheart, your team has been accepted, but just so you know, most of the coaches in the group live in the GMT+10 timezone, if your about when we are then thats fine, but if not you may struggle to find opponents, especially when we start running structured tournamets.

I'll try do my best to play some matches. If I cannot play when it's a structured tournament at least I'll had some fun! (Maybe this saturaday I could play Wink)

I just had a match against SM's Cheaters with my Nurgligns, and it was a total blast. Pity a Nurgling decided to go splortch without regenerating (I keep losing one per match and having only just enough cash to replace it!). Luckily I splortched one of his gobbos too, and damaged a few others so it was all good Smile

Just to stir things up, I am changing the formula for qualification into King of the Krud Heap

We will now be using TR rather than TS
That's Team Rating folks

Reasons?
I'm a cruel heartless dictator and want to see stunties in the tournament wreaking havoc.

Tournament Kicks off in 2 weeks time, on wednesday the 16th
We currently have around 19 coaches, so each coaches top rated team will be used to select the top 16 teams to compete
Schedule will be I go away on the 17th, and don't get back till the 25th, which is the 2nd Friday after.
Rnd 1 forfeits will occur upon my return (note this means none of my teams will be in the tourney, only two of you will miss out on qualifying..... don't want that to be you? Then play more matches Very Happy)

Forfeits will be by random dice roll, unless one of you has expressed a genuine desire to play their match without reciprocation from their opponent, and communicated as such to me via PM

Complaints this process generates, will be noted, and then ignored Razz

So it written, so it shall be done.

My Cheatin' Lil Bastids had a successful match yesterday causing much mayhem and a team retirement Smile They will be building themselves up for the inevitable crippling which is headed towards anyone who gets in their way.

King of the Krud Heap is up!!

A day early but I'm going to be slightly busy tomorrow so you get that.

First round forfiets will occur upon the 25th, and subsequent rounds each friday there after.
If you want to continue, but can't find your opponent, then send me a pm before the forfeit date, or your fate will be in the hands of nuffle...... Wink
