In game the icons show up as they are listed - it's really cool fluff wise to have a Nippon Ninja Icon aswell as the pic/fluff. That's why i was wanting some unique icons for the other teams

Thanks, although your the one who did all the work! your site is great - It really makes it fun writing backgrounds for your players if you can use icons to represent them. I know noone else can see the icons on the pitch but it's so cool for me!

I don't think so! At least you'd have to make it optional because there is no way in heaven I'll be willing to sit there and guess which guy is who and check out every single player before I make a move. And imagine your opponent adobting the ( L ) icons on all his players! Talk about confusion - and I have no doubt that someone would try this.

Well basically this is what i did:

*Looked on Pat's site for some great Human Icons (and found loads Razz)
*Downloaded all the icons i wanted (plus the sides) - Only the Red ones (i.e hblitzer.gif not hblitzerb.gif)saved them in the BB icons folder
*copied and saved a pic of the original position under the new name for the blue side. this sounds a bit complicated but basically, if i wanted a ninja for a blitzer it would be:

the new icon, saved as ninja.gif and ninjaan.gif - for your team
and a copy of the original blitzer pic saved as ninjab.gif and ninjaanb.gif - for the other team

this stops you seeing your custom icons on the opposite team aswell.

* Edited the INI file to read something like this (you've got to create enough rosta slots for your custom icons, for example if you want 4 custom blitzers you need 4 slots for the icons - this works on the idea that the client uses different icons for blitzer 1, 2 etc but repeats as soon as you run out of slots)

[HUMAN]

Human Blitzer = ninja.gif
Human Blitzer = barbare.gif
Human Thrower = estallialineman.gif
Human Catcher = knight.gif
Human Lineman = norse.gif

and voila my team is totally customised.

I'm sure there's an easier way to do it but that's how i did it.

I think thhis idea of Circus Roster is very Good Idea, but for me this roster have not enough positions...
Strongmen, Acrobat, Juggler & Freak (EvolvetoAnarchism'Roster) + Clowns, Monster, Knives'Thrower, BeastMaster...A roster with lot of positions It's perhaps Better...& more fun...No???

Well, imho the Circus would be the perfect roster fo 11 different positionals.

But I think it's very hard to think af a team with 11 positional which is not broken.

Yes...In the game Hundred Kingdoms, one of Kingdoms, the Freak show is based on the Circus...It's Good Inspiration...
Soon the firsts Portraits, to have little idea of this...

You could do it if you gave people negative abilities (like Really Stupid Strongmen, Stunty Clowns) or lack of access to skills on things. I think 11 positionals is maybe a bit much, but it would make a fun team if every player could be different - very tactical
