It is with Fumbbl that I discovered (and enjoyed) Blood Bowl, and I am scared that those fifty games I played here might be the only ones I will ever play on this website. It is with Fumbbl that I became a Blood Bowl player and bought Blood Bowl stuff (on top of the rest) and it is very sad to see Games Workshop trying to sink their own games, intentionally or not, by negligence and badly handled actions.

I had a lot of fun playing here. My coaching skills improved a bit since my last post, and I don't lose all the time anymore :] Roughly a quarter of my total matches are wins. I still have trouble winning with elves and fast teams (even if they're the most fun to play) and coaching av7 teams (they die all the time). Last general failure was trying a norse team, which might have been badly planned in the creation, and eventually retired after 6 of my players (or something like that) suffered serious injuries against a khemri team. They are too slow to do a running game effectively, and too fragile to do a bashing game, and I don't know how to play them. But other than that things have been going pretty well. I won my very first tournament (owing more to luck and strange circumstances than anything else) and I do intend to win many other ones :D Right now my chaos dwarves team, the Towerhelms, is the only league team I have, but I am working on my other academy teams to make them ready for the tournament requirements of the 145 club.

I have also tried the stunty leeg ! My first team, the nurglings was disappointing, mainly because I couldn't have fun bashing people with the big guys - this team need not to block with the nurgle beast, and instead keeping them next to as many opponent as possible, effectively removing them from the game with their tentacles. Fairies are much more fun, the three trees make for an impressive line of scrimmage and they are very fast ; one of my trees skilled and got +AG, and I don't know if I should take it or have a normal strength skill instead. Overall it is a very difficult variant of the game, relying much more on luck and weird plays - and I still don't know how to counter an AG4 throw team-mate :]

So far it was great fun and I do hope I will be able to continue to play here, even if GW is trying to sink us down ! Hopefully Fumbbl will live long enough to see my next post, in which I will try to present well painted elves (a difficult task indeed, but I do hope I paint better than I play :D ) !
