Skaven tourney setup?
Hello fellow fumbbl'ers.
im going to a tournament which has the following rules
1.1m ressuretion.
skill are following:
Skill package. (select one)
Package 1,
5 normal skills.
Package 2,
3 normal skills + 1X double (or + MA / AV).
Package 3,
1 normal skill + 2 double (otherwise + MA / AV).
All skills must be assigned by the team registration!
No player may be awarded 2 skills. (This means that you may only assign an upgrade to a player -
as has been awarded +1 MA to its Woodelf catcher, one can not also assign him
block)
In addition to the Skill package, the following teams assign a player an extra
skill (Normal scroll).
Chaos, Chaos Dwarves, Chaos Pact, Dark elves, Elf, High Elf, Norse, Necromantic,
Skaven and Nurgle.
Folliwing races may provide a starting skill for two players:
Slann, Human, Khemri, Underworld and Vampire.
The following breeds may provide a starting skill to three players:
Goblin, Halfling and Ogre.
so i like skaven and heres my setup so far is:
12 players
1 Thrower : leader
2 Storm vermin : 1 guard 1 mighty blow
4 Runners :1 wrestle, 1 block , 1 side step
1 Ratogre
4 line rats
2 RR
1 apo
1 FF
all criticism/comments are welcome

Assuming you're going for 5 skills (that's a lot for a tournament), you should have both vermins with MB, a takle/wrestler linerat, 1 block gutter.
To my mind, I'd do my best to get 3 true rerolls. You already have enough money to buy everything. Chop a bit in the gold, replace your thrower with a lino, get another really useful skill.
Btw, change wrestle to strip ball.

I wouldnt use the Rat Ogre...
Drop the apoth and get more rerolls and more line rats... more you have, the more you can foul away!

apo useful as with a lot of av7 they can be short of players very quick.

used that setup on B7 2011 and managed to get 5/0/1.
fun to play with dwarfs and prove who is the better player to surf and seeing crying dwarfs after they lost .
