CIBBL - Dökkálfar Dreki Fanzone Issue 8
Ya-harrr! Welcome to all seafarers and landlubbers alike! Welcome aboard issue 8 of the Dreki Fanzone, your favourite CabalVision programme about your favourite team!

This time we're going to talk about the player who is sometimes described as the heartbeat of the team, the Dark Elf with the golden arm, the star thrower - Himminglaeva.

Following the Winter friendlies, Himminglaeva was officially recognised by the CabalVision panel as a CIBBL Super Star, so it seems like a good time to focus on her recent performances.

Himminglaeva is obviously famed for her agility and throwing arm, shown here in a clip from Dreki's loss in a Winter Friendly to Khorne's Doombringers. She danced past several tacklers and popped a perfect pass to Frøya for a touchdown.

She also showed her ability as a runner with an eye for the endzone in the next game, scoring a brace in a valedictory win against the Waystone Outcasts.

Being officially recognised as a Super Star seemed to motivate her to even more impressive play, as shown in the victory over Queen Amphione's Revenge in the first match of Spring.

First she floated a very long pass downfield, caught of course by Frøya, which put the Dreki 1-0 up.

Next, she got herself in perfect position after a spilled pickup by the star Crester Idmon, and Torstein Hund was able to drop the ball into her hands for her to sprint home and put the crew 2-0 up before half time.

We hope and expect more of this play from her through Spring, and a successful season for the Dreki!

Thanks for tuning in, see you next time!
