The challengers face up to a 6 saurus, 1 kro, 4 skink, 2 rr and apo squad of coldblooded ones in their 4th match - the flings spend the warmum devising skink stew recipes in case things go to plan... then realise they havent made one yet...

while the confusion goes on the Lizardmen win the toss and choose to kick...

the flings set up to beat up the three sauri on the front line and a nice kick to the head kos one in t1...

the flings from here ko a few more players with only minor casualties while the great gumbo, screened by flings, makes his way up the pitch...

they make good progress and by turn 5, thogh Gumbo has two skinks on one side, the flings have a golden scoring opportunity - so the coach shouts out - lets do loads of risky blocks cos we have a reroll and it would be funny if we ko'd another player...

The fans shout out in delight as the flings start throwing punches - a saurus manages to duck a fist so the coach rerolls despite having a chance to push the saurus at this point and rerolls into skull both down... noooooo

Gumbo looks around in fear , dodging skink fists but doesnt notice the looming Kro till too late - and boosh - he gets badly hurt and the fling coach puts his face in his hands in shame as the flings lose posession and what could have been a 1-0 lead and are hapless to stop the counter drive which leaves 5 flings in total injured or dead (rip Super Stew, guess we'll never get to taste that skink stew after all.... half time score 1-0 to Lizardmen

The flings gather for a huddle and a few deep fried battered marsh bars and try to cheer their ooach up but he's inconsolable and to make it worse, they can hear the Lizardman fans chanting in delight as all 4 of the ko'd players come back for the 2nd...

Within two turns of action the cold blooded ones have a nice drive shaping up on the right flank and have taken out another two flings - Internet Router, the Treeman from the future who has teleported back to provide the flings with free internet and a much needed big guy, is having none of it and uses his futuristic training to throw Again Stodds (a daredevil fling) right into the skink ball carrier... Again Stodds was badly injured in the process but the ball went flying... right into the hands of another skink!!!

No problem, shouts the Slappard the Terrible, the infamous fling, who launches himself forth for a blits.. and rerolls a push to a skull leaving the skink catching master with the field free to advance...

From here the flings start failing dodges so miss the following blits opp on the skink ball carrier and things are staying tough with 8 off the pitch by t4 though Gavin Hamfist managed to impress by standing up to a saurus and surviving the process with the saurus only clipping him and then tripping over on to him so both fell in an impressive scramble to the floor...

Squish mad sees the opportunity and runs to Internet Router who throws him at the ball carrier - but this time the throw is too hard and Squishmad ends up ninja rolling into the crowd and somehow survives unscathed..

Farca the Fattie sees this happen but charges all the same rerolling a push to a both down and smacks the ball carrier down- sadly the skink pulled off a monkey climb judo throw while being taken down and Farca ended up bouncing face firsrt into the pitch and was taken off badly injured - the skinks see no opponents to threaten their drive and ram it in 2-0...

From here the skinks and Sauri roll on bashing out and seriosuly injring several flings and killing after Slappard the terrible got insta blitsed and taken out while ball carrying...


A big lesson that I still haven't learnt but in this instance was particularly painful - do not tempt nuffle and when you can score with flings - bloody do it it will feel so goooood and it will feel so crap to have missed the opportunity...

The flings one death of the match was Super Stew - a cool fling with 5spps to his name and they also sufferred two -1str perms though Internet Router pulled off mvp for a level up and rolled a double for block on his first level up!!! With every cloud :)
