A draw... but at what cost
https://fumbbl.com/p/match?id=3731979

Oh my that was quite the pasting we took there... there were moments of madness, namely my using of an apo in the first half on a ko...

I should have known nuffle would punish me against such a team of chaos nasties and punish me he did!

What a game... to continue with an ag5 armour 5 wardancer?

To even continue with the team having so few players and being so strapped for cash...

Perhaps I should try again :)

Fumbblers let me know what you reckon and enjoy the slaughter if u have time for a replay

Cool as that WD is, at AV5 he's just not going to stick around the pitch much in a lot of games. Couple in the odd leap/dodge fails and well...

As to the rest of the team, nothing there is exciting, the rebuild will be long and painful. Up to you if you want to try and slog through it, but frequently I find when you have so many loners you are loosing SPP because they have to do things you'd prefer a regular player would do, and they take a few MVPs along the way.

Still, it can be fun to attempt a rebuild. I personally probably wouldn't take the time to do so, but to each their own.

Yeah I think their retirement is probably the only thing to do now

Hehe, nice snotling/WD
I'd also restart the team...

Yeah retire is the wisest thing to do.

But if you want to go on with them, i'd keep the av5, just keep him way out of troubles, he's the only worthy player on your team (him and +ma catcher, too).

Start a new team, but get some background and fluff on them so if a battering happens it's all part of the story and just makes a rebuild more satisfying!

The only teams of mine that I've ended up playing lots of games with are always ones with strong backstories/themes.

Retire because you have no other choice unfortunately.
I love to rebuild teams but in B, and especially with the new scheduler and your race, it will be impossible to rebuild yours even for the best coach.
You will never be able to have a full roster again (unless not buying anyone until you got enough to buy the whole roster).

For Fluff reasons it would be cool to rebuild the team and try to keep the career of your 5AV wardancer going!!! I guess it just depends on why you play and what is fun for you. You can't really go wrong rebuilding or starting, just do what you think will be the most entertaining!

Agree with akaRenton here: good fluff & team theme makes it fun to play them & more likely to push through a rebuild. Depends on how far you want to take the team, but most AV7 teams are going to have to face a rebuild if you play them long enough.

Keep all the teams alive!

It would be great to rebuild, bit lower TV opponents change the races and skills you face too; ) Plus, with elfs of any kind it shouldn't take long to have some solid positionals again. I think the av5 WD is a goner though.

I had this eerily similar game 3 matches ago; https://fumbbl.com/p/match?op=view&id=3730260, but my team has already bounced back: )

Never retire teams!
Posted by pythrr on 2015-10-21 01:42:45
impossible my arse

rebuild them, steve austin style!
Posted by fidius on 2015-10-21 02:23:09
pythrr's right, retirement would be mega lame. You're only down 3 players. If there's one thing BillBrasky has proven with his 1000 Dances, it's that WEs can be rebuilt in Box. Plus why waste as awesome team name?

Argggh it has gone from clear cut retirement to something I need to think about now hehe - thanks so much for your overwhelming response fellow fumbblers, this community really is awesome in my humble opinion.

The hilarious thing is I haven't made up my mind as to which team i am going to take to my first ever fumbbl cup and these woodies had been a dark horse outsider depending on the outcome of their following games...

This match saw an end to this outside hope though :)

Wood Elves are one the easiest teams to rebuild. There is really never a reason to retire a woodelf team, you can always rebuild them with ease.
