I would like to write my concern regarding the recent cease and desist letter given to the website fumbbl.com. As an avid bloodbowl fan, I can attest that fumbbl.com provides a great service to the bloodbowl fanbase. A great majority of fumbbl users already own the board game and are providing revenue for Games Workshop. The quality of coaches at the website is unparalled, and the website has a very active community, and if the website were to be shut down my opinion of Games Workshop would diminish considerabely. Games Workshop has already recognized the need to expand its player base beyond table top gaming with the Cynadine video game. fumbbl, which has been in existance for over 10 years, provides a completely different atmosphere. Quite a few companies, such as Lucasfilm and Joss Whedon's Buffy the Vampire Slayer, recognize that offering a liberal approach to intellectual property is a good policy for everyone involved. Games Workshop could recognize that fumbbl provides a real service that is valuable to it's property, and Bloodbowl players have a way to play over the internet with top coaches.

I would hope, that as a GW customer, you will take my concerns seriously and consider allowing fumbbl.com to continue operations.
