Mid season Wreckers review
We are at the mid season break and the Wreckers go into the break with a 6/2/1 record and currently sit top of the SHCS. How are the new players faring? and what about the in season rookies that have come in to fill the gaps? Lets review the new players again at the mid season point.

Tim Brown

The guy seems to go from strength to strength this season. He's developed a lot over a short space of time and has taken over from Hoffnung after his untimely death as primary baller, contributing with 6 completions and sitting as top scorer with 5 TD's this season.

Brendon Weeden

Weeden's promising career in the DLE was cut tragically short when a smashed collar bone forced the owners to activate the serious injury clause in his contract and he has since been dismissed from the Wreckers team with a healthy payout for his contribution over the 8 games he played.

Damontre Moore

The man has already cemented himself in Wreckers history with his contribution over the first half of the season. He's paid back the teams faith in him several times over and fans just cant get enough of him.

Busta Anderson

Coach Hoodless has been disappointed in Anderson and his injury in the last game was the final straw for him. A lack of development despite the coaching staffs best efforts on top of this injury put Anderson on the market. The Grizzlies have stepped up and since signed Anderson. Hopefully he performs better for them than he did for the Wreckers.

Levine Toilolo

Has dutifully carried out the tasks set to him and seems to be a dependable player that fits into the Wreckers play style well. Fans wonder if he might have a more prominent role in the second half of the season due to Hannah's injury.

TJ Johnson

Turns up, takes lumps, goes home. Guys come in for a job and he's doing it wonderfully.

Rookies:

Aaron Rodgers

This rookie came in after the death of Hoffnung. Has quietly gone about his business and has shown some progression over a short space of time

Colin Cole

Coming in to replace Silatolu after his retirement, Colin Cole has shown what an ogre can really do. Showing immense strength and having caused 5 cas in 5 games, Cole is looking like an exciting prospect for the Wreckers

Honourable mentions:

Dunkel Hoffnung

Dunkel Hoffnung was the unfortunate victim of the game against the Avalanche this season. He ended his career with 30 completions, 12 touchdowns, 1 cas and 1 MVP Coach Hoodless said that Hoffnung was on the cusp of attaining a new level to his game before his untimely death. He is missed by the coaching staff, the players and the fans and the Wreckers cant thank him enough for his contribution over the last 3 and a bit seasons.

Amini Silatolu

Even though on paper he didnt contribute much during his time with the Wreckers he team mates will say he was a dependable player, a pro who always had his teammates backs. Wreckers staff want to thank Silatolu for his contribution.

Nice recap. But what did Damontre Moore really do?
