Dear Fumbblers,
I have been informed by his wife this weekend, that Flix (Felix Hafer) has suffered a life-threatening cycling accident on January 11th and has been in an artificial coma since then. Chances are good that he will wake up soon, but since there have been serious head-injuries including internal bleedings and multiple fractures the doctors cannot estimate exactly what impacts might be short and long term.
Myself and all other Team Hellhound members are speechless and wish him all the best in the hard road of recovery.

Oh my, thats terrible to hear. He seemed like a very nice guy. I send my warmest thoughts and hope he will wake up very soon without permanent injures.

I'm a cyclist, and I knew Flix also cycled. It's not an easy life. I also have a lot of respect for Flix as a contributor to our hobby, as we all should. I can't remember him having a cross word with anybody.

God bless him and lets all hope he makes a full recovery.

On a side note, is this a motorcyclist accident or a bicyclist accident?
Big difference between the two in terms of accidents go. But from the injuries it 'sounds' to be motorcyclist.
