Due to unforseen and unfortunate events the Sluggers ended up under new management mid way through the season. Here's the round up of season from the perspective of the Coach c9805222:

Game 1: Sluggers vs. Templeof Thunder https://fumbbl.com/p/team?op=view&team_id=854136

With a sellout crowd for the first game of c9805222 in command away at the Thunderdrome the Sluggers overcame an error strewn start to steal the match. Troy Niklas impressing with his dodging and passing on point. Coach c9805222 sees this as an excellent chance to push up Troy's transfer value...

Game 2: Sluggers vs. Averheim River Bandits: https://fumbbl.com/p/match?id=3847333

With Troy all but wearing the Bandits colours at this point, he goes down under a light tackle in the early moments of the match and signals he's unable to play. The Bandits then give a masterclass of ball carrier protection even though it means that Warren Sapp will sit out the next game as his arm heals up. The Sluggers then try a brute force approach to bring the game to a tie but are unable to convert despite winning the on pitch scrum comfortably in the second half.

Game 3: Sluggers vs. Dead Wood Rangers: https://fumbbl.com/p/match?id=3848942

The Sluggers are going from strength to strength, with the Rangers at a disadvantage right from the beginning due to the boot of Randy Bullocks putting the Rangers ogre Román out at the very start of the game, the Sluggers were then able to sack the ball carriers twice although they were unable to make the advantage fully count until the end of the first half when Gary Glick got the touchdown.

Gary Glick is killed in the last few moments of the game and is posthumously awarded the Sluggers MVP for his contribution to the team.

Game 4: Sluggers vs. Grenzbury Greenskins: https://fumbbl.com/p/match?id=3853417

In a surprise upset the Sluggers are able to sneak the win when at 1-1 a game changing break tackle dodge blitz by franchise star ogre, Louis Slug sacks Art Monk sending the ball loose on the floor. In the resulting scrum King Hill is able to get away and scoop the ball up to throw a pass to Marvin McNutt who runs in the winning TD.

Game 5: Sluggers vs. Norden Legion (previously Drakenhof Legion): https://fumbbl.com/p/match?id=3854071

With the Norden Legion under new management, their was uncertainty in their game, Dri Archer tripping and killing himself on GFI for the equalising score at the end of the fir4st half really summed up the Norden's game.

The Sluggers were ruthless in their execution of the game, Keith Wenning completing 4 completions in the game and local talent Seth 'The Architect' Rollins and Slugger UDFA stalwart Ron Yary grabbig the touchdowns whilst the team hitters Slug and Barr both recorded two casualties a piece.
