After a 2 year hiatus from playing any Blood Bowl whatsoever, I came back and joined a Rookie Smack tournament with Stray Corpses (Undead, a race I have little to no experience with).

I won the first two matches, but yesterday I lost in the final to sfcro, a Necromantic team from the super talented PigStar-69.

The match was awesome, a real nail biter. The momentum swung back and forth a few times, but in the end some stupid mistakes cost me the game. Nuffle was on my side, but I overlooked the timer in the first half to miss a fairly certain scoring opportunity, and in the second half I failed to stall when I should have. Instead of finishing 2-0 or just 1-0, he came back to tie it and force OT, where he scored off the kick.

At least I got a zombie out of a werewolf I killed :)

I have to play some more tournaments, they are great.
