New Year Fumbblutions
Bit early I know but here we go:
1. Raise my ogre win percentage to 33% (currently 17% at time of writing, after 137 games). At minimum this means winning my next 33 games. But as the win percentage uses adds in draws as a half win, I guess I could draw my next 66 matches as a minimum too. Either way, yikes! Based on PaddyMick's comments on a previous blog (plus the fact he's at 30%), I feel this should be achievable.
2. Not start any new teams (except league teams as and when) until all of my current teams are >100 games. I've created 72 teams on here and only played 509 games. That's a bit of a pathetic games per team record.
3. Enter some tournaments. Never done any yet and with the Warpstone Open coming up, I think now would be a great time to get started.
4. Get more involved with the awesome community on here. The amazing generosity that people show with their time and skills is a joy to see. My skillset doesn't correspond at all with coding or logo creation or anything like that but I'm hoping something will come up where I can contribute more than forum posting and the like.
5. Not concede games. I conceded 7 games in 2015, 1.4% of games. This, more than any plays I've made in games, ticks me off. Although I'm not bothered by coaches conceding against me, I know it annoys some people and when time for gaming is at a premium, it can be bothersome.

Awesome ideas! I'm definitely with you on the games per team. I feel like I hit a roadblock and then can jump ship. I'm definitely going to stick with a few from now on, leagues permitting.

@Beanchilla - that's the mindset that led to half of my concessions too. First game with new team, something bad happens, bugger it, I'll restart the team.

2 seems unrealistic and restrictive in having fun. I'd drop that, and replace it with a 'aim to play more with each team'.

It's hard when you have little reason not too! Even a couple games in if I don't have much in the way of skills I can restart without feeling too bad or just stop using that team for a while. Definitely in that boat with you man!

Nice list. As an aid to reaching a higher number of games played think of a really strong theme and team name before starting for that. Fluff will keep you coming back even when a losing streak hits hard, anonymous forgettable players/teams are easy to walk away from. I hit a run of over 20 games without a win with the Cranberries at one point, but didn't walk away and have only lost 1 in about the last 18 I think. Win, lose or draw I love to play them :D
