I think that if you want to hurt him, you have to hurt certain players. No point hurting that elf, he can replace him with money.

Also the 'I want to play at a higher tv, it's just getting there' line appears to be total fiction.

So which players should you be hurting?

He doesn't sack skilled cpombers, so hurting them will annoy him, but keep him at low TV. If he builds up 4 or 5, we'll see if he sacks some to stay low or actually play higher. The past suggests, he'll play at a higher TV, but forgo other skills to play with an even trimmer line up.

He does sack very nicely skilled DEs that get too high in TV. So hurting them (unless it's a massively special one, doesn't really hurt him).

I think you should be looking at the players that would annoy him. 2 skill players, are likely for the chop, so not those.

For me the ones that stand out, are when he puts +AV on a player or the one skill players that do have an input on the game. Right now, that's the Leader, followed by the Guard.

If I were you guys, I'd aim to hurt those. The leader is massive, he's giving him 2 rerolls per game. Aim for that guy.

Yes, that's a great job done there, Quarion really did look at the big picture and hurt him where it counts. We can see from his last match report, he was a bit irked at drawing with the Ogres. And quite rightly, I would have been too. Why did he draw? Because he had horrendous luck, and no rr to correct it.

So we can see that not having a rr and having bad luck ruins the fun somewhat for him. Also he maybe forced to buy a rr instead (am I right in thinking he sometimes runs 1 rr when the team is light on skilled players).

So it's a win/win situation.

1. It may force him to buy a rr and thus up his TV.
2. There's a good chance if you keep taking his leader players off of him, he'll have worse than average luck and a. Not enjoy the experience as much as he would have or b. Not win the game.

Leave his Cpombers, they'll up his TV, and we've yet to see him sack a healthy one. Next go for his +ST player. I'm sure he'd rather have it, than have it killed, which is a great reason to kill it.

1) I typically ran 1 RR until the point where my BC was developed with Blodge + Sure Hands. Its good insurance, but past 1050k the extra 40TV for a RR vs Leader won't kill you.

2) I don't understand the +ST Dodge. What is that ever going to do? Fire him now!

blader my about page shows the team I want to make and includes:
1x ST4 tentacles, blodge, guard, standfirm

Getting +st on the first skill wasn't ideal, and I very nearly turned it down, block next to protect him, then standfirm, then tents, then guard

He'll always have Cpombers though, it's a conveyor belt. You can see there are 4 or 5 players on that belt as it is. All you're doing is lowering his TV, where he is more effective and doing the most damage.

Taking his Leader away does hurt him, his chances of winning and enjoying the game. In my opinion, if he's not going to run with rerolls, this is the number 1 target. Also as smallman's stated what he wants to build with the ST 4, that's a good target too. As that's a long term project, there's no real hurry on killing him, as he's bloat at the moment. Any time before he can get Tents.

In conjunction with Harvestmouse's comments recommending we look at the big picture, it might be worth considering a counter the to real damage that smallman's team causes: the alienation of new coaches that experience a terrible abuse of their personal time.

I would suggest that if you really feel strongly about his preying on weaker teams and newer coaches then you PM the rookie coach if you see him playing against one. Taking the time to explain that most coaches are decent and that there are alternative options for play, linking to the 145 club, etc, might help reduce any churn that smallman creates.
