Who is Cody Latimer? Inga: Well, he's an oldie, about twice my age, and hails from the northern Empire. He grew up in a logging area, and was expert at climbing trees. He came to the game late, but has excelled as a catcher at the Buccaneers. He scored 7 TDs and had 80 running units before he got injured, but wasn't usedc much for TD runs after that. He was traded to us before this season as part of the "ogre" deal.

What is he like as a person? Inga: He's gregarious and fun to be with, and always has a joke or two, and thankfully new ones which you haven't heard before. He's sad about his injury (suffered a broken neck in the match against the Scimitars in season 2), and thought his career was over, but coach Vatn has given him a new purpose, and now his old cheerful self is back.

What was your first impression of him? Inga: Coach presented him on the first training session and he seemed a bit apprehensive, but then Coach said "This is Cody, and he has a unique skill set that will make him one of our most important new players", and suddenly he sort of beamed...

A fun fact about him? Inga: He plays the clarinet and the flute. Claims it is something he learned on lomg evenings in the big logging camps. Unfortunately, they do not seem to be tuned to my voice, so he can't accompany my singing. On second thoughts, for some reason, the rest of the team seems comfortable about that...

How will Coach Vatn use him? Inga: Coach has assigned him three tasks. On the offense, he is to use his Guard skill to be a close-up support for Nicola as she is running the ball. On the defense, he is to operate as a safety and co-operate with Manfred or Petrus in hunting down opponent catchers. And finally, when a one-turner is necessary, he is to use his Guard skills to help TJ blitz through the opponent goal-line defense.
