Wrote Another One
As many of you are aware, outside of FUMBBL, I write fantasy novels. My latest one Mad Tinker's Daughter just came out, and is the start of a new series. It's reduced to 0.99USD for the first week (and I think it's 0.77 UK).

I would like to point out that while it's a very minor mention in a few places, any references to "crashball" can be replaced with "blood bowl" in your head if you like. It was pretty much the game I had in mind when writing about it.

The story is set in the Twinborn universe, like my last series, and you're introduced to twinborn from a new world. It revolves around the Mad Tinker, his daughter, and their respective twins in the other world. Each of them wants to do something to fight back against the race that holds humanity in slavery. One wants to help them escape, the other is more of the mind to KILL ALL MENZ.

If you're interested, the ebook is here:
Mad Tinker's Daughter (US)
Mad Tinker's Daughter (UK)
You can borrow it free if you have Amazon Prime.

Also, as a bit of a kick in the pants for my original series, I'll be offering Firehurler free over the weekend.

I know a lot of you have been good to me on here, so I hope you enjoy the new series as much as the last!

You have now written more books than shadow has read.

Awesome! Congratulations. :-)

Can't read them as fast as you write them... or... well... I'm afraid I could, but I don't. Work, family, FUMBBL... I guess reading would come next down the list.

Sounds very interesting though, I'll read them all eventually!

Nice! I was kind of wondering about the references to the Mad Tinker in the trilogy as I fully expected him to make an appearance sooner or later, and then he didn't.

Well, it seems like good ol' maysrill really knows how to sell his books...

But then again, there's nothing better than cross-references that make a world feel truly alive and oneself more educated (once read through all of it).

("Nothing better" might be exaggerated, but you probably know what I mean...)

Yeah, from Book 2 (Aethersmith) I knew that he was going to be the central character of my next series. I dropped enough hints to (hopefully) pique people's curiosity, while at the same time making him reclusive and mysterious enough so that the characters from the first books would be largely ignorant of him and his operation.
