Seasons are 10 game Swiss style with games due every week. At the end of the season half or fewer of the top teams will make a knock out playoff to determine season champion. Once a year there will be an open knock out tournament for anyone in the league or new players.

All games have OT, no draws. OT is golden goal/sudden death. Kick-off results in OT are all either Blitz or Solid Defense, chosen randomly.

Team development rules are taken from older editions of the game. No redraft. Players skill up at 6,16,31,51,76,126 and 176. Skill up results are rolled at these points to see if the player gets a normal skill, a double, or a stat. No expensive mistakes or spiralling expenses.

All inducements allowed, including all stars, wizards and cards.

All fouls have +1 to armor rolls.
