“After coming through the team rebuilding phase with a hard fought draw the Fangs returned to winning ways with an impressive display against the Shadows of Hoeth. Things just didn't go right for the elves whos lack of extensive training (1 rr) combined with some impressive displays from Fangs players meant the game was a bit of a whitewash. The game could be typified by the first touchdown where an elf pass was intercepted by the saurus Quetzecoatl, who then stormed down the pitch.
The Shadows had sneaked in some Ulthuan herbs for the match to help bolster the team before the game. However most the herbs were used by the dragon warrior Saryon, who after an impressive start passed whilst attempting to block a skink and never returned to the game!
All in all, a bit of a harsh game for Lander (his bad luck v my good) though kudos for keeping good cheer throughout the match. The team just badly needs that second re-roll!
Good luck in the rest of the tournie!”
