“So after the most exciting victory, our most heartbreaking game in Angels history. Up 3-0 after scoring on turn 8 of the 1st half, knocking out his best player on the first play, up 15 players to 10, the game seems to be in hand.
or, not.
A one-turn score, followed by an offensive score (on a drive that we stopped, but were too sloppy to put away), and we're only up 3-2. Instead of caging with our St 5 blitzer and bearing down the field, we spread the field and isolate our best players. Bad idea. Games like these make you want to tear your hair out.”
“The first half included 2 blitzes for my opponent, only one used effectivly, gave him the 2-0 lead. In first turn he blitzed my star to BH. After sobbing the entire half, the game suddenly shifted totally. All of a sudden, the Dark Elves were cased left and right, (ok, only 3 but still). All of a suddenmy Wood Elves started to dodge and leap like they should. Being down by 2-3, we had to take chances, and we did. And then the opportunity came. A 2+ with reroll pickup failed for the Darkies. A pass up to a waiting catcher ecured the ball. We did some stalling, nothing im proud of, but i dont think i would have been able to stop him again if i had scored.
I think my opponent said it best : This was not a fun game, luck played too big a part in it. In first half it was all for him, in the end of 2:nd it was all me. Well played anyways, cu next round.”
