“1st of all - Xaos is a fun coach to play and plays Orcs with good sportsmanship.
2nd of all - how in the hell are the Skulltakers only 12/12/35
In this game, they did away with their carefree ball handling attitude and chose to use their multiple guards to piund their way daown the field.
1st Skulltaker drive was a slow slugging match as each coach strategically placed their guards to get 2 die blocks. Eventually a failed leap (2-1) on the goal line opened the door to a 1-0 lead.
Witches itty took the KO and quickly moved down the field. Unfortunately, a pass to a wild open receiver was snatched by an Ogre (D6) and I was down 1-0 at half.
2nd half was a bear as the Skultakers continuously covered all the elves. There were 3 changes of possession until finally itty got a break in turn 7 and completed a pass for the tieing score.
Even so, the game wasn't decided until turn 8 when a thrown halfing tripped at the goal line and kept the Skulltakers from winning.
Final 1-1
My luck sucked throughout the game with multiple 1-1s on passes, dodges, pick ups, etc. My opponents luck was great until the final 2 turns of the game which led to my TD and his trip at the goal line. So overall, both coaches were kind of neutral on the outcome.
