The first thing that went to my misfavor were the Handicaps, including the dreaded Virus. That left me with only 9 players to compete against a full-blown Woodie team. Well ok, I thought. They only have av7 so maybe I can correct that numbers advantage in game.
But I was wrong on this too. His armor withstood the little bit of abuse I could still muster and many of my players promptly went ko as he awnsered my feeble blocks with much more force.
Not content with reducing me to 7 players and almost killing my valuable thrower, he brought his dirty player into the fray and fouled another beastman mng. Retaliation was quite impossible because I was lucky to even down one of his players per round at this point.
One don't have to say that I couldn't keep the ball long against such odds and he promptly made the td at round 4. Then he got the rev.
He began with a little fouling spree, but I managed to at least stun his dp and combined with the short duration left of the halftime he wasn't able to kill my thrower again. Not that he didn't try it very hard.
The rest of the game consisted of my last remaining 3 players running away and crying for momma, so I'll spare you the details. The only small moment of joy was a desperate 1-die multiblock with my Ogre that killed one of his Lineelves so hard even the apo couldn't do anything. Oh sweet, sweet revenge.
