Khorne's Kindergartners arrived at the playing field with an hour left till the game. They had heard of thier opponents and knew they were some hard hitting humans. This was gonna be a game where it all came down to who was standing up at the end of it. We felt confident that we were up to the task. The main goal was ofcourse to score but also to keep the bo nasty ogre on the ground. Otherwise he would wreck mayhem among the boys.

As the final hour grew near it started to rain. Alot. When we came out onto the field we could feel the soft, soggy ground underneath our feet and hear the relentless rain beating on our helmets. Not only was this gonna be a brutal match...but a muddy match as well.

The first half started well for us. We kept em down relativly well and had the game controlled when we started fumbling the ball and gave up a dumb score. ARGH! On the next kickoff we was nots gonna make more mistakes and even it up score wise with humans. And so we did. The Half finished with the score 1-1 and each of us causing one grueling casualty to key players each, but both field medics doing a great job in reviving them.

Having no medics, the two teams kept mercilessly pounding each other into the ground. The half started with a Quick score for the humans but a relativly fast reply from our boys. That was it. about 10 minutes to go and the humans had the ball. They went really deep into the Kindergartners end of the field with all his players. This was perfect. We quickly surrounded the players at our end of the field and Rodney was thier to make any final second passblocks and distractions as well as Armoured Arnie showing his hideous visage hoping to distract players. In the final seconds of the game, the human Thrower advanced quickly down the field with great confidence, having narrowly dodged a tackling Byron. What was he smiling about? His team mates werent elves??? With this weather, the great distance between passer and reciever, and the enormous coverage of the humans by our boys, the humans were never pull this off. The human thrower heaved the ball downfield, a mighty throw indeed. We watched and laughed within ourselves seeing as the pass was way off......Well a tied game was an ok result we thought...

....And then he caught the ball. A human blitzer who had been rushing down the left side of the field made a spectacular catch and ran in for the 3-2 win in the last second of the game. Where the hell did he come from???? What a miss in player marking...

Good game Force! I thouroughly enjoyed the game except for the fouling at the end but seeing as nothing resulted from it matters not. Good luck in the future!
