Anyways, I had the luck this game. I did have some trouble early with only 2 RR to try and play defence as well as score myself, but there was not much I could do to stop him. Eg, I rolled a 1 early to dodge with my Wardancer and with only 1 RR and 6 turns left, just fell and let him set up his score.

On my turn 7 defence, I lost my last RR on a blitz when I rolled a double skulls. It was to no avail as he had plenty left to score with and take a 2-1 lead with 1 turn left.

I was left to try a chain pushback TD with no RR. I got a Quick Snap vs his three sidesteppers. Some magical luck. This allowed me to get my push on a single 3 dice block and then it was a 2+ pick up, 2+ pass (with Pass RR), 2+ catch, and then a 4+ dodge (with dodge rr) and a 3+ dodge (with dodge RR) and 2 GFI to level the scores at 2-2. Not only did I make this string of fortunate rolls, I also got two Badly Hurts on my opponent in that one turn of blocking.

Second half started at 2-2. We exchanged TDs and at 3-3, I had a cruddy turn where I could not force through after I rolled a tripple skulls.

I formed a cage and sent a few more forwards. My blitz move did not free up my receiver and I ran backwards with the ball. My opponent got a player with Diving Tackle onto my thrower but I was able to make the 3+ dodge and make a score.

At 3-4 down with 2 turns left, my opponent had a crud set of blocks on the LOS and did not make any big gaps. He blitzed one of my players to create a space where he could do 3+ dodges through, but failed in his dodge to get backwards and he was too far from my endzone to tie the match with one turn left.

Well, I most certainly was the lucky one here. I rolled a few double skulls and a tripple skulls, but I was lucky enough to not fail something again after I used the RR. I also didn't have any 1s on ball handling which is amazing.

My opponent knocked me over heaps in the first half, but unfortunately for him, he could do no worse than maybe KO one player, where as I got two cas without any die modifiers vs AV8.

Certainly with a bit more luck to him, it coulda easily been a draw or a victory.

My luck continued post match when my 76 spp Thrower got a double and didn't age. My opponent got screwed with his Thrower aging at 31. Not his day today and my win was very luck assisted.
