#7 Nzakron – Dead (RIP)
The Greenskins looked to be in trouble when their Ogre pulled up sore before the match. However, starting in offence, they hit magnficently to keep the Hellbringers on the back foot.

However, the stronger Hellbringers slowly started to gain the upper hand and soon recovered the ball, but didn't play aggressively enough to get a good chance to score (I think I had a tough chance but i can't remember).

The second half saw the Hellbringers start in offence but they were caught offguard by a Greenskins blitz! This caused the Hellbringers some trouble. However, they eventually brought the ball up in a strong position despite the strength of the Greenskin lineup.

The Hellbringers looked like setting up a score but their Bull Centaur tripped over some grass and stunned himself. This left a huge gap for the Greenskins and they managed to knock the ball free.

The Hellbringers had another chance to pick up the ball and win but the Bull Centaur failed to pick up the ball (4+ with reroll - 75% chance).

To make things worse, the Greenskins then killed a Hellbringer Chaos Dwarf in the dying seconds of the match (I had used my Apoth on my BH Hobgobbo star on turn 6 to try and win the game).
---------------
Another cursed by dice result. Despite my much higher Str rating, I was manhandled most of the game. My opponent had +Str players to give him 6 Str 4 guys on the pitch and he had a heap of guard too.

It was only my Piling On and a few fouls here and there that kept me in the game in the first half and the first part of the second.

The blitz screwed me badly though I protected the ball... but then I had the damned luck of rolling snake-eyes to set up a cage and my Bull Centaur then stunned himself... equivalent to 3 ones in a row.

If I had made the 2+ with reroll I would have scored safely. Still I had a second chance with the pick up with the Bull Centaur, but no, can't make a 75% chance roll either....

Not happy Jan.

This was the match that kicked off the Fumbbl Legends League. The Waaagh Shintorn Greenskins were still wondering why they were even in the League, and now they were facing the mighty Hashut Hellbringers.
Things were looking bad for the Greenskins right from the start when Tr'gulk F'ngar, the Greenskins' ogre, was unable to participate in the match due to a niggling injury he had developed only a couple of matches previously. But they still decided to give it their all, and hope they could come out on top.
As they walked out onto the pitch, The Greenskins realised this was the biggest match they had ever been a part of, as the roar of 130,000 fans hit them. They won the toss and decided to recieve the ball. After getting the ball, it was kept by Lobba in the backfield as the rest of the team tried to break through the Hellbringers' line. After a long struggle, Jag was able to break through on the right wing, and was passed the ball. He over exerted himself, however, in attempting to get as far down the field as possible so that the Bull Centaurs and Hobgoblins would have a harder time in getting the ball off of him, and he tripped over and was knocked out. The rest of the half was a struggle for the Greenskins to get the ball back, and the Hashut Hellbringers might well have scored instead had the half been any longer.
Now facing a half with the Hellbringers attacking, the Greenskins realised they needed some sort of advantage to keep them in the game, so they devised a plan to buy them some time by taking the Hellbringers by surprise just after the ball had been kicked. This made it very difficult for the Hellbringers to breakthrough the line to score, as they were playing on the Greenskins terms now. Through constant attacks on their ball carrier, they were able to keep the Hellbringers consentrating their power on getting and keeping the ball instead of pushing through to score. When they finaly got a player through the line with the ball, he was easily picked off by Borzag, and that left the Hellbringers with very little time to win the match. The Hellbringers made one desperate last attempt at scoring but despite the Chaos Dwarf Blockers easily knocking Borzag out of the way, the Bull Centaur was unable to pick up the ball.
Angered from being knocked down, Borzag lept up for one last attack at Nzakron and was so enraged that he killed him. Shortly after this the final whistle was blown and the match was ended. The Greenskins are extremely happy with the result, and hope to maintain this level of performance for the rest of the league.
