Well poor DanTheMan. His first Legend Smack and he draws the highest TR highest TS team in ranked history. The handicaps were pretty lame apart from Virus.

The Greenskin FC started with the ball but it was not long before the Falcons harrassed them heavily, forcing one player out of bounds then knocking the ball loose and stealing it. The Falcons played ball control for most of the half and knocked a few Greenskins out before scoring very late (turn 7).

The Greenskin had just one turn to score and short of Injury Time could only score with a Throw Team Mate play. what do you know, the Greenskin Troll had fainted from the heat!!!

Second half the Falcons started in offence and scored quickly before stealing the ball and scoring again.

There was a hair brained couple of moves late in the game as the lateness of the hour had addled my brain and I made a couple of one dice blocks that I was CERTAIN were supposed to be two dice hits heh.

The Greenskin with no chance to win spent the last few turns gunning after the Falcons rookie Petewar Axefury who had scored two TDs and was going to get his first skill (if he survived). He survived, only to age on his first aging roll and get a niggle and get sacked!!!

Was a fun game against a fun opponent. DanTheMan was facing a superteam from hell with a team short of skills (only two Tacklers, and one was injured early, the other was sun stroked one drive). Some bad luck for him also in the game made it very difficult. Eg one turn when he had 3 players suffering heat stroke and I had none or one.

Anyways, a shame about Petewar. Onto round 2!”
