A fun game against a fun opponent. We both had some really funny awful luck with a stack of snakes and double skulls. We had one turn where my opponent ended with double skulls, and then I got double skulls immediately after on a greedy needless block without any team rerolls heh.

Anyways, my opponent was sleep deprived and did not play his best game, several times doing a one dice blitz when he coulda set up a two dice blitz instead heh.

I had the game won pretty much but I chose not to score on turn 7 with a Gutter Runner on 123 spp. My opponent made some dodges and got a pow on two dice and knocked the ball down. Easy for me to recover it with my players there, AG5s and 4s and could even push his player out of bounds if he didn't go for the ball. He went for the ball and fell over.

Now I had a free TD needing a 2+. But noooooooooooo I have to go and score with a Linerat instead who needs 3+ but he rolled snakes to pick up the ball and it was a tie heh.

I really should have scored a few turns earlier as I had turn 8 in this half and also a chance to do a one turn score if my opponent managed a score, but I was being too cautious and left myself just turn 8 to secure the win. Anyway, it was a fun match and no permanents and we both got some money so a good day all in all.”
